Yes I have tried it, it works awesome:p

Yes, they definitely rock with a 14500 on my BBs :thumb:

Just got my new Smooth BB on Saturday. Looks very nice, but I definitely prefer the look and feel on my original Krinkle.

I was hoping it would hit better with a standard 510 atty than the old one - heavier spring, copper disc - but it does not. A regular Joye 510 Mega batt actually outperforms either of them.

Guess I'll have to stick to the LR attys on one and keep stacked cr2s on the other for cartomizers like I've been doing. DISCLAIMER: AltSmoke does not recommend this!

Chad or Rob I'd love to get some of those protected cr2s you mentioned. I wouldn't care if the protection circuit trips with a 510 atty, I want them for KR8s. Any source you can point me to?

Also, the instructions say not to use alcohol to clean the adapter threads. What does AltSmoke recommend other than wiping them out with a q-tip?

got my low R atty from nhaler last night. wow. loving it.
Me too! Gave my BB a second life!

drip tip rocks too.
They're great. Most comfortable tip I've ever used and the easiest to clean - just run a q-tip through 'em - no dis-assembly required.

big difference. wonder how long this atty will last.
We're all asking that question. lol. I've been trying to wear mine out for almost a week ;) So far it just seems to be getting broken in good.

anyone know how hot a 510 gets down in there?
At 1.5 ohms, you would think pretty hot, but the atty doesn't feel as hot as a Joye 510 gets. Shorter button presses? Better air flow?

See red.....

I have been vaping for over one month with no loss of attys until I received my LOW R attys. The first one I tried lasted under 5 hours, at $12 for 5 hours of vaping I will not purchase anymore until the quality is improoved.

I think they're just like any other atty in that respect. Quality control/manufacturing consistency sucks and is all over the map. I got 3 of those $12 ones and I'm still on the first one. 15 days now of moderately heavy usage. The good news is that Rob's got them for regular price now :).

Same thing for the Joye 510s I've been using with a 5v passthru at home. I went through 3 or 4 of them at about 2 days each and the next one has gone over a week. Got 3 of those, guaranteed 1 yr ones from H20 (they have the washer but measure out at 2.4 - 2.6 ohms). First one burnt out in a few hours. Second one is still going at over a week. Haha, got some 901s (and 801s) for 6v battery vaping which I haven't really used yet but 1 out of the first 3 901s was dead out of the box.

Was wondering on the new BB's that are on pre-order what is the largest 3.7 battery that can fit. Will a 17650 fit or a 17670?
No they will not fit any of the 17XXX batts, the bottom was extended .150inches to acommodate a protected 6V setup. I and Altsmoke do not recommend stacking any batteries in any device. :p

Very true. Another thing to remember about the LR attys is you have to treat them like a 2.2 ohm Joye you're vaping at 5-6v. They get hot easily, so keep 'em wet, shorter drags, and if you notice them heating up, give 'em a little rest.

And as with any atty - good luck ;)

Hey Grink,

The BB Bottoms are extended for those that wanted to use the protected CR2's EVEN THOUGH we say NOT TO USE STACKED BATTERIES. They do not allow for 18650, they still only fit the 14500.

You can be notified by email when the LR Atomizers are in stock. Simply log into your AltSmoke account and visit the pages that currently show 'Out of Stock' there will be a link that says 'Be notified when product comes into stock' :)

Yes. The battery grounds to the spring which is connected to the bottom. The positive end of the battery connects to the top so the threads are part of the "circuit". I'm not sure how critical the lube is anyway. Probably a good idea in the long run since the thread surfaces will oxidize otherwise but it's probably not neaded at all for the mechanical connection (those are wonderfully machined threads).
