what does this limited run of the BB bottom look like!?

It looks almost exactly the same as any other BB bottom. Only way you can tell it from the previous model is standing them up side by side. The limited run "new" BB bottom is 1.5(?) mm longer than its predecessor and it has a longer spring inside.

Is there any way I can order the new spring? My BB is from the initial run and I sometimes have to pull the spring out & stretch it to make the BB perform correctly.
Rob should have them on the site next week, all depends on the mail. I put them in the mail today for him. :p

Outstanding built device guys. With the extended tube all my needs have been fulfilled and a lot less than buying a whole other device. Great craftsmanship and durability. I don't understand why everybody else is buying other devices for way more in price. I must be missing something. Again, great job.

With those other devices there is that added anticipation and intrigue. First the deep sense of satisfaction and accomplishment when you manage not to cross thread it followed by the repeated rush of the gamble as to whether it will fire this time when you mash the button :D

Ok guys, I am a total BB noob, couple questions.....

how long are the 'New' BB's (with the .150 longer ends) going to be produced?

If I order say on the 5th, will the BB that comes in be the new one?

Why is using 2, 3v batteries not recommended? This is why I want a BB: 3.7 AND 6v!!!!

Or do I have to have the Passthrough in order to vape at anything higher than 3.7?

Sorry for all the questions guys, TIA

Update on my BB. They do not float. It was a beautiful day to go fishing for Stripers on the Hudson river. My BB now is being vaped away by those fish in 23 feet of water. Actually they sink really quick. Now I have a extended tube with my green battery's and nothing else. Crap!!

Egad! I think we may have a BB head laying around. Hmmm new product idea, BB Lifevest coming soon ;P

Let me know. Will probably have to get the whole unit as it was my short tube that went swimming and of course I have about 6 battery's for that.
Now I'm thinking about the SB also
Hurry up payday!
A nice auto inflatable vest would be great.
I even think I saw bubbles on the water, then vapor when they popped. Bad fish vaping away.

Not so! That genius Chad designed the long tube with a longer spring in it. It works great with either one 14500 or two CR2's .

Ok, maybe not "genius" since you might expect that level of engineering in a quality product, but when you're surrounded by [ahem] it makes it look like genius. :D

I picked up some unprotected and protected CR2s for my BB

received the unprotected ones by mistake and tried them first with a HV 510 @3ohms

worked great. fresh charge 3.5x2=7.0/3 ohms = 2.34a
regular atty =7v/2.3= 3a gotta say three amps cooks the juice

when the protected batts came in my HV atty had already died. they did not work with the regular 510 atty, must be the protection.

I have to say this. Nothing compares to the BB with a low R atty.
fresh off the charger you get 4.2v/1.5 = 2.8

I switch to a new battery when they get below 3.95v I am a heavy vapor and it takes hours to do this. at 3.95v/1.5 = 2.63a

Why take the chance, its the current that matters. the sweet spot is 2.5-2.8 amps as far as flavor and vapor production is concerned.

get six 14500 batts and two chargers, one at home, one at work, you will always have fresh batteries. on a long trip you have six fresh batteries.

there is no need to bother with 6v now that low R attys are in the game.
