Well my sister in law tried my emax and proclaimed "I'm keeping this!" The tossed her blu's in the trash and I just ordered another kit. Lol
Worth every penny if it keeps her from smoking too.
My wife was able to quit with the blu's but she was a 1/2 pack a day ultralight smoker. She has been successful for 2 1/2 years.
She only touches the blues if we are drinking heavy. Maybe once every other month.
I started with blu then some manual 510's then an ego-t and still went back to smoking.
This kit is so much easier to use and it just works. No vapor production problems. No tinkering so far. No leaks. No batteries going off in my pocket.

Heads up People! MaxVaper has just released the E-Max Vivi Nova Bcc Kits! (Instead of the Mini-Pro tank you'll get a Vivi Nova bcc instead). They hold 2.5 ml of Nic Liquid.

Here's your opportunity to try one!

E-MAX VIVI NOVA BCC KIT

I'm thinking about ordering a tank for mine. Do you reccomend the vivi over the mini pro tank 2?

Still loving my e-max! Had it since Thursday, still haven't needed to replace the coil.

yes I most certainly do! Its heads above the mini pro tank. IMHO.

I'm such a newbie when it comes to this stuff.

I ordered the standard e-max kit (without any additional tanks). It came with a pack of 5 coils. Can these coils be used in the Vivi tank or do I have to buy coils specifically for the vivi?

Thanks for the help!

My assumption is the E-Max coils probably won't fit in the ViviNova bcc. But ... if it performs as well as the MiniViviNova (top coil) I bought last March ... can't wait to try it out!

No, the E-Max coils won't work with the Vivi Nova bcc clearomizers, and yes, you'll have to buy coils specifically for the Vivi Nova bcc. :vapor:

Prepare to be very pleasantly surprised bobalex....

The best starter kit you can probably get is the iSmoka iGo: 2100mAh battery and a vapeonly BCC on top for $44.99.
QvJFgRpl.jpg

Lasts a whole day, works splendidly with a 1.8Ω head, and if you put it on the unregulated setting, it works pretty well with a 2.0Ω carto (and fits 19mm tanks nicely).

I'm vaping one with a 2.0Ω Boge and Gorilla Juice right now, it works terrifically and to be honest, I prefer it to the full-blown eVic because it weights almost nothing, feels more comfortable in my hand and lasts almost as long as the 2600mAh stock battery from the eVic.

That is indeed a sweet starter kit, but for people just starting out, I think this is a little 'much' (I mean, I can't see my "Mom" packin' this thing around! ...) ..... and like, where's the Nic juice and the Carry all Case? I'm sorry, The Boge Carts would also be wasted on me. The only Carts I can deal with are GO-Carts that I still vape occasionally when I use my Go-Go or Fury eCigs. (Which I STILL love and use).... but, for 'my' money, I would still choose the E-Max bcc Kit. I'm just thinking back to when I was just starting with Vaping... The iSmoka iGo is just a little 'much' and would have been quite intimidating to me. (Plus, beginners need all those 'extras'.. the things you don't think of when you first begin vaping, like extra coils, batteries, juices, carrying case, etc)...

This is just my opinion! Nobody shoot me here! :p

Maybe those Go-Carts are standard 2.7Ω resistance, which I wouldn't wanna vape, either.

A bottle of that Dekang you get with a starter kit is $2.99 and who needs a carrying case with a 3.5ml tank?

They do however make it one size down, with an automatic 650/900mAH eGo battery (with which I don't have any experience yet but there are tons of reviews for the vapeOnly BCC Mini, which is the same thing) for a mere $24.99, called the iSmoka iKit:
iKit_b-500x500.jpg

maxresdefault.jpg

I'm keen to try the 900mAh automatic battery with a DCT tank, I guess that it would be a great setup on the go. For the carto people, it's exactly the same diameter as the Smoktech (U/Pyrex)DCT v2 and 15mm IBTanked tanks.

Not a big fan of all the ProTanks and BCCs as they didn't work that well for me, hence the cartos. But the iSmoka/vapeOnly BCC does work reasonably well with 65PG/35VG liquid.

You do however need two of them (like of every other 650/900mAh battery) to comfortably vape through the day while the bigger iGo is 2100mAh and you can vape it while it charges on top of that. It's also a bit manlier than those tiny eGos while still being comfortable and lightweight.

Believe it or not, but the one one the right has all fancy-shmancy variable voltage and variable wattage and the ProTank II, yet regardless of what you're setting it to, which head you use and how many flavor wicks you remove, the on the left with a DCT V2 and a 1.5Ω dual-coil carto beats it by far in the amount and quality of vapor, flavor and it even manages to produce a throat hit with 50/50 6mg juice. It's as easy to use, the 650mAh battery lasts one and a half tanks and even though it's plastic (not polycarbonate but polypropylene), it doesn't crack, frost or melt.
jWeAV8Pm.jpg

As you can see, I do however like one part of the ProTank II.

To sum it up, IMHO, these (Smoktech DCT V2 resp eGo DCT) are sensationally good (and they would be even better if you could pick up a Pyrex tube that's 2mm longer from IBTanked for it). The incredible sum of $5 to try one for comparison won't be leaving anyone to starve, either:
iHwLQkHm.jpg

These (Kanger eVod and everything that uses the same technology as the ProTank) on the other hand, not so much. Muted flavor, little vapor, lots dry hits regardless of what you do to it. To be fair, the dual-coil ProTank III might be better than this:

Howdy - want to chime in here and ask for honest feedback -- I'm a vaper since January 2012, no cigs since then, and I had been thrilled with my Echo setup (which BobAlex mentions positively in his review).

BUT, Echos are becoming very hard to find batts/cartos for, and the quality has really slipped of late. Echo came out with stealth batts, eliminating the attention-getting light, but both of mine have died in the last couple of months. Cartos are hit or miss on whether they'll be good or dry/harsh from the get-go. I'm just tired of having to search to find replacement bits.

This post caught my eye, but here's the thing: I'm commuting/working 12 hours a day and love my Echo 1300mah batt. I'm thinking the two 650s in the emax kit would suffice, if I was religious about charging, but then Liquidrino's post about a long-lasting iGo made me stop and reconsider.

Please, I'm well-versed in vaping, cartos, clearos, etc. I don't want to spend another month researching. I don't need finicky stuff. I like the idea of being able to change out the innards instead of just dumping cartos (as I do with the Echos), so the replacement coils sound good.

Tell me NOW so I can pull the trigger today. Which one for me? Complete setup, please. I don't wanna have to do this again for another two years :)

THANKS!!!

The iSmoka/vapeOnly BCC works 'reasonably well' with 65/35 PG/VG liquid? Well then, my Friend, I 'challenge' you to try the Vivi Nova bcc, because it is superior to reasonably well. You NEED to try one. I took the challenge and it has astounded me. I prefer the flavor, vapor and throat hit over any and ALL of my other RBA's, tanks, carts and clearos.

It's THAT good. (At 4 volts especially).

As for the "iSmoka iKit? It's one eGo-style battery with a charger, clearomizer with 1 replacement coil, and bottle of juice. That in no way compares with what MaxVaper's E-Max Vivi bcc Kit comes with.

** Product Clarification! **

The "Vivi Nova bcc" that MaxVaper is selling is UNIQUE in it's design. (Please note attached Photo); MaxVaper Vivi Nova bcc.jpg

I've seen a LOT of other bottom coil clearomizers out there and I don't want you to be confused, so if you purchase any 'other' bottom coil clearomizer from any source other than MaxVaper, then it probably isn't a "Vivi Nova bcc".

For you, I would still recommend the http://www.maxvaper.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=KIT3

You'll get TWO 3.7 volt 650 Mah manual Batteries and you'll get 2 E-Max Tanks with 5 extra replacement coils to start. (That's 7 coils total!).... You'll get the USB charger (in addition) to the Wall adapter. You'll get a 2.5 ml Vivi Nova bcc (bottom coil clearomizer) that will work on any future eGo - eVod or 510 threaded systems you acquire.

Well, here's what you'll get in it's entirety;

YOUR KIT INCLUDES:

2 E-MAX MANUAL BATTERIES
2 E-MAX TANKS WITH COILS (Standard 2.5 ohm coils)
1 NEEDLE NOSE LIQUID BOTTLE
1 USB CHARGER
1 AC WALL ADAPTER
5 EXTRA E-MAX COILS ( 2.2 ohm coils)
A LARGE BONUS CARRY CASE FOR ON THE GO!
VIVI NOVA BCC 2.5 ml Tank

Because of your 'work' schedule, I'd purchase a nice 'lanyard' to carry my E-Max in and that extra battery. ;)

MaxVaper stands behind it's products and you'll have them in your hands, in most cases, in two days.

If you decide to order the iSmoka iGo, bear in mind you'll need 'something' to put that huge 2100mAh battery system in while you're working, and it will not slip into a shirt pocket easily..:smokie: .... It's a HUGE 3.7 volt system and 'if' I want a Battery that big, I'm going to choose a Variable Voltage system over this one. That's a whole 'nother ball game entirely.

Hi kren,

Yeah … it’s tough when your favorite e-cig starts getting kinda scarce. When I was still in KR808 World my all day vape gear was the Elegant Easy 1300 XXL … and then it was discontinued. Luckily the 1300 mAh Go-Go came to my rescue.

I got my sister vaping 2 weeks after I started but unlike me she was perfectly happy to stay in the 808 Universe. And why not? Everything she was looking for in vaping was satisfied. When I started reviewing different tanks/clearos/whatever you want to call ‘em last Spring, I tried to convince her that there had been a real change in their quality/performance.

She didn’t care. She Was Happy.

While I was trying out the E-Max, and trying to figure out the content of the upcoming vid review, I called her up a couple of times and tried again to tell her she could kiss her cartos goodbye because the E-Max tanks produced a better tasting vape and beat any carto hands down in terms of ease of use.

No sale.

Then she saw the video (I guess it was one of those “a picture is worth a thousand words” kind of deal) and understood what I had been yammering about. She bought a kit.

Leaving the 808 format is a big deal. Switching from cartos to tanks for the first time is a big deal. But when everything works … priceless. Especially when it only sets you back $39.95.

… but here's the thing: I'm commuting/working 12 hours a day and love my Echo 1300mah batt. I'm thinking the two 650s in the emax kit would suffice, if I was religious about charging …

Back in my smoking days there was only one rule:

NEVER RUN OUT OF CIGARETTES

Way back at the beginning of Go-Go Nation, I think it was mohawx who said,
“Two in the pocket, and two on the charger, now that’s smoking security.”

And that’s been my motto regardless of what I’m vaping. So no matter what happens … I Will Be Able To Vape.

A normal person could get through the day, every day, with two E-Max batts. My preference is the ol’ 2 in the pocket, 2 in the charger mode. But that’s just me. And no … I don’t wear a belt and suspenders at the same time.

… I don't wanna have to do this again for another two years …

Then pick up two kits. 4 batts, 4 tanks, and 14 coils will definitely give you two solid years (or more) of great vapes.

First update: Posted here at 2:53 p.m. Order shipped notice at 4:01 p.m. Can't say anything bad about the service so far :)

You'll see. ;)

... Be sure to try that Vivi Nova bcc as soon as your package arrives!!!!!

(It won't fit your Echoes, but it will work on one of your new E-Max Batts, or another eGO or 510 system you have lying around.)

For those of you following this thread, it would behoove most of you to try the "Vivi Nova bcc's" MaxVaper has in stock. (bcc stands for bottom coil cartomizer/clearomizer)... whichever you prefer. While it is 510 threaded, (which worked out great because I wanted something for my Mods), it looks good on the E-Max as well. Depends on personal tastes... for me, it's a non-issue. (Photo included with this post). Now I wasn't impressed with the former Vivi's because of the top coil feeding build, but I have to say, this thing, without a doubt has literally blown me away. I haven't tasted the purity of my juices like this since dripping. For real. The flavor of your juices just shines through, and the vapor productionn is heavy and divine. Perfect throat hit. I can't think of anything negative to say about it. Vapes awesome out of the package... No dry hits, no leaking, no gurgling, no loss of flavor, or vapor.. awesome throat hit. This thing hits like a train! For me it was another 'no brainer'... works with all of my Mods, eGO's and now, my favorites, E-Max's. I own so many RBA's, cartos, Tanks, what have you. I believe this new style "Vivi Nova bcc" (along with the E-Max Tanks), beats everything else I own for throat hit, delivering the purity/clarity of juice flavor and vapor quality... (hands down). I'm really jealous of all of the Newbies coming in on the Vaping scene right now. The quality (reliability/durability) of Products they can purchase now is so beyond what was available when I first started vaping... but hey! I'm enjoying it now!

In all honesty, this bcc is great on the E-Max, but it'll take you to a whole new level of Vaping Nirvana on a Variable Voltage system! (Try it at 4 volts and you'll see what I'm talkin' about.)
Some of you will act on this post. Kudos to all of you. To the rest, you'll regret your skepticism later. :smokie:

View attachment 262897View attachment 262898

Oh no! Now I'm probably going to need one of those Vivi Nova bcc's! Only thing is, I ordered the kit with the mini tank and haven't even tried that one yet! I wasn't sure if the replacement coils included with the E-Max worked on the mini tank? I read that they don't on the Vivi Nova. Where do you get new coils for the tanks> I didn't see them on the E-Max site.. did I just miss them? Also.. you mentioned how good the Vivi Nova is on a variable voltage system. Are there any that aren't GIANT??? I bought a dial-a-volt (in medium size) the same time I bought my E-Max kit... and don't like the dial-a-volt at all! It's like vaping a giant stick! :p And the worst part was I could have bought 2 extra E-Max kits for what I paid for it!
