It's standard 1/16" ID silicone tubing. I use 1/16" ID x 3/16" OD, though other OD should also work okay.

Amazon, eBay, are reasonable sources.

I'm pretty sure this is what I bought: https://www.amazon.com/Silicone-Tubing-16-ID-Wall/dp/B01LZTH5XR?keywords=1/16"ID+silicone+tubing&qid=1536202377&sr=8-8&ref=mp_s_a_1_8

(I got 10', maybe used 1' to redo multiple bottles [emoji3] )
THANK YOU! :w00t:

I’ll order...uh...5’ (I guess) tonight. :?:

I should have just bought that rather than an extra 2 bottles - I don’t even know if I like the mod yet. Lol. Well, Labor Day 15% off sale, so not too bad. :)

I forgot to report back about this. Someone pm me and ask how's it going. Many thanks for this Zaryk. I'm happy to report back to anyone who has the same issue is to use these size orings. Works well.

I got the black O-ring from ebay locally.

That's great to hear. Seeping juice from squonk mods was always my biggest annoyance, glad my OCD driven fixes could help others.

Thanks for posting, I haven't been keeping a close eye out for it recently. Just downloaded it. Guessing the Pulse X will be shipping this weekend since this was said to be released at the same time.

I'm leaving for a dentist appt shortly. Will load it up when I get back if work is quiet today.

I'm pretty happy with version 6 at this point. Interested to see if anything has improved with the battery life in this release for those having issues with it.

Thanks! I upgraded the firmware and think that TC mode has been fixed. Can anyone provide a guide to settings menu on this firmware?

Maybe check out Tony's pulse x video. I have not watched it but it's likely he did a walkthrough of the menues.

So version 7 does allow you to set up to 90w max, similar to the Pulse X.

Nothing is mentioned in the fixes about battery life, but one thing I noticed is the 'chip noise' discussed a few pages back now stops once the screen turns off. On version #6, mine would have the noise any time AFTER the fire button was pressed, until the chip completely went to sleep. So for 30 mins, etc.

Now with version #7, mine stops with the chip noise, as soon as the screen powers off. Doesn't continue doing it until the chip completley goes to sleep.

Maybe they changed something that helps with the battery use? At least when the mod is idle perhaps? Obviously the mod was drawing power and doing something for the chip to be making noise whenever it wasn't asleep.

What was wrong with TC with v006? I didn't see anything wrong, except I generally use Ni200 Clapton coils in my squonkers.

My pulse has no chip noise and still gets horrible battery life. So I'm not sure the two issues are related.

I will upgrade though, since I always thought the screen was just too bright for my liking. Turning it down should help battery life a tiny bit.

Sorry, maybe there are other changes that will help. For some reason, I don't have the battery issues but it seems many folks do. Strange. I wonder if the mod becomes less efficient depending on the settings. I mean obviously higher wattages are going to take more power. I mean wasted power.

I turned the screen brightness down too. The settings are 30%, 50%, 80% and 100% with the default being 80. I turned it all the way down to 30 and it works fine for me at that level.

I don't run mine hard. Around 40w. I use VV mode a lot at around 3.8v.

I am comparing battery life to the only other regulated squonk mod I have which has a DNA 75c in it, and using the same battery, build, and wattage. I end up going through 4ml less juice with the pulse before the battery dies. That is certainly a big difference. And some people say the DNA 75c isn't a very battery efficient chip either.

Good info to know. I would be interested to know if you see a difference with the version 7 firmware. Heck it could be the chip itself that's inefficient, firmware tweaks may only help so much.

I'll start trying to get a new baseline for battery life with the new firmware tomorrow when I can wake up with it in hand. Watch it get worse for me, and better for you, lol.

I found TC on v006 to be very weak no matter how high the temperature i set. I've been on power mode on v006 due to that.

I'm looking forward to seeing if there is a difference. If they fix the battery life issue, I would be super happy since, at this time, the pulse is the only variable voltage single battery squonk mod on the market, and I am a big fan of variable voltage. I really want to like this mod.

But I feel the battery issue is more likely to be a compound issue dealing with multiple areas of the chip and firmware (and possibly build materials) working together to cause it. The chip being overpowered sure isn't helping battery life, but I'm sure that isn't the sole reason for it. It is probably just a few small inefficiencies spread out and making it difficult for vandy vape to pinpoint.

due to constant " new coil or Old Coil" pop out, yesterday i open up that device and found there is minor ++ leak internally .....
What is a minor ++ leak?

You mean you've got a minor 510 leak? If so and the board is still good, clean it up and put it back together. I don't think ANY squonker is 100% leakproof.

This is why I prefer to remove my bottle to fill. Any volume of liquid you use is essentially doubled going through the 510 if you top fill. Just personal preference I guess.
