Out of all my rba's, I like the look of the Flash-e-Vapor V2 rba the best. all SS tank with no markings, on an all SS mech mod with no markings, beauty in simplicity, have a .6 ohm build on it and tis tasting mighty fine. Check out the first post for the Flashi on the Nasty. Everything else just looks tiny on it especially a dripper. lol. The Arnold looks right at home on it though. Don't have a pic handy for that setup.

One of the reasons I was looking into a dripper was to reduce the overall length, the Patriot looks nice judging from RiP's recent review but I would kinda like something with afc.

-also-

From what I read on the MNKE's they haven't made the 26650 size in a couple years, so all of the MNKE 26650 are old stock that have just become popular with all the new 26650 Mech mods that have come out. Was one of the reasons I bought some sony's also and only one MNKE. Can't verify the validity of this, but read it on a few forums and review sites.

say it ain't so! :?:

can't confirm or deny but tis what I read on at least 2 forums and one review site, would have to query MNKE to get verification, but did notice that the MNKE was at 3.4 volts when I first through it on the charger, My Sony's read 4.2 volts. Haven't had a problem after fully charging the MNKE.

Far as bigness goes, it's no taller than the Nemesis in 18650 mod just larger girth.

I pre-ordered the Big Nasty today, this will be my first mech. Now the hard part: finding the perfect topper. I like the idea of the Big Russian on there but was thinking of going all-American with a Patriot or Omega rda

Any suggestions? Nasty porn encouraged.

I can see the threads to come as we speak.

What's so great about a Provari Big Nasty and why should I buy one?

Speaking of the Big Provari, been looking at the PowerPro 26650 Provari Modder's Kit

Now that's a Provari!! But then I thought, hmm, wonder if I could mod that mod to fit a DNA30 chip?? Hmmm.

Oh, I did buy a couple G Case Mod Holder's Pretty sweet, tube mods fit nice and secure inside this padded case, and has a clip to attach to your belt loop. The Big Nasty even fit, snuggly, into the black one.

Take this with a grain of salt, as my Omega is a clone... I've been using it a lot over the last few days, and while it hits well, makes GREAT vapor, and looks fairly nice... I won't be ordering an original. The post holes are so far below the drip well (which doesn't actually function as much of a drip well thanks to the air holes drilled in it) that it's fairly difficult to get the coil legs into. The only o-ring holding the top cap on is at the very bottom of the RDA, which means when you get condensation from your juice on your top cap, it will run down the cap an onto the outside of the atty's drip well, eventually making its way to your mod if you don't (A) clean it off a lot or (B) leave the top cap on all the time and drip only through the drip tip.

It performs well, but for the money (of the original at least) I'd pass on the Omega.

I mine from the January 31 batch. The fit and finish are flawless. No wobble standing strait up. Vent holes are plenty and inconspicuous. Overall a quality mod. Does feel a little light weight without the battery, like it might dent easy if dropped but the finger groves help keep from dropping it for sure. The button position, along with the pressure is a little uncomfortable to press compared to others for sure to the point where it's almost a pain to push with your pinky. If you hold it like a pencil though, it's a little easier press with the middle finger.

All in all, i'm glad I purchased this one for sure.

That seems surprising. I assumed from the reviews it would be more solid.

So since I haven't been able to find a good big nasty thread I guess I'll ask here. I got my BN from the Jan 30th relese. The button seems to come loose quite a bit and i can't figure out how to get it to stay tight. Any suggestions? I took the bottom derlin piece off and tried holding the piece with the magnet and turning the button with my thumb but it doesn't seem to stay tight long.

The button internally? If it's button inside the housing that you are having issues with, unscrew the Nasty's switch housing from the Big, look at the derlin insulator, there is a small drill hole next to the center contact pin. Stick a small drill bit or paperclip in the hole, turn it to tighten or loosen and disassemble switch , that is for adjusting and taking apart the switch. Can also remove the top cap insulator, has in matching small hole to do so.

or are you saying the whole switch housing is loosening up? Never had an issue there, but make sure that when adjusting the battery throw on the 510 floating pin, that that final tight turn, before all tight and adjusted for flush snug fit, has some pressure. Helps tighten everything up. While tightening the 510 cap, if it is just making slight pressure when snug tight, I adjust the screw another 1/2 turn so that applies it a bit more. One of the things I like about the Big, switch housing never comes loose like it will on a Nemi.

Thanks for the reply. I am just talking about the button it gets loose and doesn't sit inside the bottom of the mod. It will wobble when i sit it down. I have taken the bottom derlin off and tried holding the bottom magnet to get the button back inside the bottom but it always comes loose after some use. I can't seem to get it tight enough to stay tight. If that makes sense.

Ahh, the extended button wobbles while on end issue. Thought they cleared that issue up with the 1/30 batch, my switch is flawless, Just mounted slightly higher then the bottom of the housing, has a very short throw. no wobble.

I'd contact Tatroe about it, sounds like it might of been a leftover from the first batch.

I received mine with small scratches running vertical down the mod from the top cap to the first grooved cuts. Another issue I had was the firing button got stuck. It wouldn't fire or move for that matter. I got frustrated and hit the firing butting with a rubber mallet and voila fixed the issue LOL the button hasn't stuck since. Other than that I love the mod. I have a Patriot sitting on mine with a Cap It All Vapes top cap called the Fauxgatti Patriot cap and a Chunk drip tip from CigTechs. Here are some pics of my setup. Cheers ECF
