This WAS the tank that was going to retire all of my other tanks. 1st build that got put in was awesome! Great flavor and vapor production. Could chain Vape it at 40 watts. My dream come true. Now I can't seem to duplicate the wicking. Can't go over 25 watts. Can't chain vape at all. I hate to say this. My Lemo 2 is blowing my Billow 2 out of the water. 2.5 diameter coil. 0.5 resistance. No dice .

Any tips on how to get a successful build on this thing? I got one a few days ago and can't even get the coils on the damn build deck. The screws don't ever seem to tighten enough to keep the coils from popping out. Even if I tighten it to the point of snapping the wire the screws move with even the slightest nudge. Firing them dry has even popped them out of the holes. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong here as I have about 10 other RTA's and never had these issues before. I've watched a few reviews and they make it look so easy or don't even show installing the coils at all. Any help/tips would be appreciated or did I just get a faulty one?
That sounds like something is wrong -- stripped threads in the posts. Contact your vendor but in the mean time, try wrapping the wire around the screw and tighten instead of in the holes. Might get you going until the vendor can make it right.
Where did you get it? Everything is getting cloned these days, even reasonably priced China made originals.
I thought I had the same problem one or twice with mine as well. That was my only complaint with the quality at first glance. That the screws seemed cheap and weird. Like I would tighten until the screw head was flush with the post and it would still feel like my lead wasn't as tight as it could be. Or it would back out easily so I would give it one more quarter turn and SNAP. Got mine direct from eciggity as well...[emoji19]Thanks for the suggestion. I had considered doing that but wasn't sure if it would work trapping the coils that way. I bought it from Eciggity and my last order from them had issues as well but they took care of it for me so hopefully they will take care of this issue as well.
I sat down tonight for a good hour trying to wick this thing. I thought I had it. The inhale was great. The exhale tasted burnt. Kinda like machine oil which doesn't make sense to me seeing I ran about 4 tanks through it b4 I wicked it for the 2nd time. Wouldn't I have tasted the machine oil with my first vaped tank?

Are you still referring to the wicking method similar to the STM? I actually tried that. I have it wicked like that now. 0.3 ohm claptons. Used just enough so a smidgen is in the cotton groove. Used my smallest screwdriver to make a little dent in the cotton so looking down you would see "daylight".Maybe try using it as a dripper for a few minutes to see if it's lack of wicking, the b2, or the juice that's producing an off flavor. I agree that if it was the b2 with machine oil in it, you almost certainly would have tasted it on the first tank.
I'm thinking I want to make a YouTube of how I wick this thing. I've seen Todd, buttkicker, rip tripper and a few others show great techniques for wicking high VG juice, but they are all either too subjective in exactly how to get it right, or they're unnecessarily complicated and time consuming. I don't have a macro video camera or any editing software. Can anyone recommend a low cost set up to get me up and running?

On my unregulated box it was hitting like a dream. I put it on my Sigelei last night and at 42-45 watts which was only saying between 3.5-3.6 volts, I was getting dry hits... Either the voltage drop on my dual 18650 box is really bad or the Sigelei is firing way hot or the wick decided to stop working. Idk. Btw my juice is somewhere around 70-85% VG.

That sounds amazing, so no, I don't think I have that lol. You really should make a video. Anyway it was actually vaping quite nice yesterday, then after I unscrewed and refilled it, boom, dry hits again. Does the vacuum need to reestablish itself or something after refilling?Excellent, you're close if I understand you right (it's working better than before?). You might still have too much cotton in the top end. When making the "groove" don't compress the cotton at all. Just carefully move it. A knife or something thin like a knife is useful to do that. If it requires any compression or "smallerizing" or even moving around of any of the cotton to replace the chimney bottom, still too much cotton. If necessary, actually cut a very tiny "V" or "U" into it at the channel so it all fits without disturbing at least some small "path to daylight." You should be able to do at least 40 watts no problem and when it's really right, a good bit more than that. I stay around 35 watts because I like a cooler vape but sometimes even that is too "wet" of a vape and I have to crank it up a bit. The b2 definitely just wants to wick so I'd encourage keep trying.
The objective is that when the draw pulls some juice up and out the wells, the wick's capillaries are there to overcome any surface tension in the juice and wick it during the draw (I think it's called boundary layer wicking but that's out of my lane of expertise). If cotton blocks the wells or can't soak up what rises during the draw, it's not right. I get the bubble from the bottom during the draw and it keeps wicking and making bubbles for as long as I can keep drawing. It will keep up in "real time" to the hardest chain vaping.

Yeah I did a few dry pulls even in between hits and I was still getting dry hits within the first 12 pulls or so since refilling. I'm dripping now so haven't gone back to it yet.Nothing special after refilling but it is possible to get an air lock type thing going if a large air bubble is trapped near the channel (and remember of course that they juice channels are partially hidden below the upper chimney supports in the tank -- I'd guess those chimney supports are what sometimes trap air after a refill). If it starts acting up after refilling I just do a draw with no power to suck in that air bubble and then it's off to the races. I took another photo of a top down view. Important to note are that the cotton is just flush with where the side of the chimney bottom will be when reinstalled (nothing gets compressed or disturbed) and it's hard to see (the best I can do with an iPad as a close up camera) but there are 4 little notches, one at each juice channel, so there's no impediment to juice coming up and air going down from/to the tank.
I'm definitely going to do a video once I get a video camera and figure out how lol. Anyway, here's the pic:

Well I like the good news. LolThe bad news is what's likely happening is the high VG juice in the tank warms up after those dozen hits and it gets thin enough to wick satisfactorily. The good news is you have to be very close to having it just right if it will do that.
Saw an ad for it at gearbest today in my daily vapingcheap.com email. Never used then before but some others here have some things to say about gearbestAnyone know where to find one of these in stock? Or when Eciggity is supposed to have them back in stock?
