hey Mad, what do you mean by 2 5mm? Two 5mm ID coils? That would be impossible to fit in the chamber... 3mm ID barely fits...Just ordered some 26ga (0.4mm) Ti 1 wire and have been looking at everyone's builds on the Billow v2 with Ti.

I mean 2.5 mm ID. Each coil wrapped on a 2.5 mm mandrel. Not sure how 2.5 mm is ambiguous but maybe over my head lol.

I'm pretty sure he meant 2.5 mm

Just noticed that the coil deck of the Billow v2 is removable/replaceable. Would anyone know if there are plans of Eciggity/Ehpro to provide a replacement deck with a Velocity style posts much like the one on the upcoming Cthulhu v2? Nothing else needs to change on the design. However a Velocity style posts would make the Billow v2 even more awesome.

Wicking is the key to the Billow v2, it has to be just right... But once it is, it performs like a dream! Once you get it down it's a piece of cake, I recoiled and wicked mine yesterday in a McDonald's with only a little screwdriver and I'm still using that setup! Lol but anyway, I usually use 26 or 24 gauge kanthal around .50Ω and max 30w and it's perfect with 50/50 up to Max VG! And I'm a huge fan of EHPro, their quality control is nearly perfect anymore! IMO

Oh crap, I must have hit space instead of dot. It's the :censored: tablet keyboard.

Yes, 2.5

Ok so I just installed dual 2.5mm / 26ga / Ti 1 / 11 wraps / 0.3 ohms total / thin rayon wicks

Running this in TC on a IPV4s and man O man is this awesome! 345^F seems to be the sweet spot for my tobacco mixes.

So yeah, I am never going back to Kanthal... Using Killer Bee Titanium Wire grade 1.

The stock screws didn't give me any problems with this wire.

Here's a perfect standard wrap build in the Billow. Yes it's a little dirty but I've been vaping on it a few days. 24g A1 5/4 standard wraps. Cotton just rests on the holes and fills the rest of the space just leaving airflow around both sides of the coil. Hope this helps some of you!

Anyone have any issues with this thing leaking from the bottom anywhere? I have a goblin v2 and keep getting a little fluid between the atty and vaporshark. Tried teflon tape on the fill screw and there's still a little fluid there. No idea where it's coming from. Not really anything under the afc ring either. So if the billow v2 can stay bone dry once you get the build right think I'll pick one up for my birthday ☺.

I've had leaking maybe one out of every 5 refills. So I can attribute that to disturbing my wicks or not wicking properly. Once I left it on its side for 8 hours and it leaked a lot but most will say that is bound to happen with any tank if you leave it like that. (Even though my coworker said he can leave his STM on its side overnight with no problems.)

I'm sold than. There's a b&m near home that has billow v2 in stock. Think I'll pick one up for my bday. Hopefully no more cleaning off that liquid ring underneath the atty. Before I put the teflon around the fill screw it would be so bad a little would even go into the battery compartment. Even now though I have no idea where the fluid is coming from if not the fill screw.

As long as the holes are covered it def won't leak. If you can see the deck where the cotton should sit then you need more... But wick'd nicely and you'll have a great vape and no leaking. I carry mine in my hand all day and it rotates on all axis'.... Er, axi?... And never had a problem. In pocket or bag or upside down probably even in space... Not a drop of leakage. You can buy this with confidence! I've used nearly every popular tank on the market and the Billow is just flawless really!

I use my Subtank for temp control exclusively, as its super easy to rebuild the heads or throw a replacement in. (Ni200 builds)
