Know how that goes djwyman. Sb isn't bad at all, I doubt you'll have to do any rewiring with it.. I wouldn't mind one myself. But I am a Disabled Veteran that's been unemployed a year now. I have to make my compensation check stretch as far as possible..

I misplaced my bolt today, about had a heart attack because I can't afford to smoke anymore or replace this bolt anytime soon.. I used all my tax refunds to buy e-cigs and juice to last me 6 months by then I'll be able to afford a kick. But I think I am going to have to get another Bolt.

well from one vet to another I know its tough in the real world(10 years army) took me 6 month of trying to find a decent job before I made uncle sam pay me to go to school and I work a little minimum wage job to supplement that. I am fortunate that I own both my car and house out right so I don't have either of those bills on my plate and the fact that I am divorced also helps...I thought I was making crap money in the army...until I wasn't making it.

Agreed, that's me. I drop the eGo's with tanks (never messed one up) and just about every other ecig I've had. heck, I dropped the analogs too come to think of it. lol. I'm not as big of a klutz as I make it sound:laugh: but the Bolt or any "budget friendly" mod is great for this reason if no other.

oh my i use to drop my analogs like crazy i use to have burn holes all through my pants, and plus even though its a very cheap mod or APV i feel like even if i drop it, its not gonna break it feels very sturdy (unlike my lavatube which im very scared of droping) so yes if it does break can just buy a new one but i dont think it will

I agree the bolt does look very sturdy...I mean you would have to drop that thing really hard to break a metal tube I think. at most you might break that button...in which case you can buy one from mad vapes just like it (the button)

Yeah, it screws closed without problems.

For now, i solved it wrapping the body threads with 1 layer of tin foil. It screws perfectly, the tin foil took the shape of the threads after the first screwing and it doesn't fall off, and the mod works now as intended.

I might look for a way to remove the extra paint, but so far it's working perfectly and it was really easy to fix with something we all have at home :)

Now i'm experiencing a drop in performance by not much but definitely noticeable. My volt-meter reads 3.7 with no charge.

I'm using the Smok battery that came with the mod. I'd say i haven't used it for enough time to drop in performance yet, but...swapping it for an identical, freshly charged battery solved it. Is these batteries performance like this? Could it be solved by using AW IMR batteries instead?

I started my wife on a roughstack. She told me the button placement was fine. After a month or so, it wasn't. So, I got her a bolt. Worth every penny. She had either a really bad case of bronchitus or a not as bad case of pneumonia. The doctors kept going back and forth on that but, she was still smoking. Finally she asked for my help. She's happy with her bolt now. :)

I have the Bolt mod and the extension ring (for 18650 batteries), but it won't work with the 18650 batteries.. Batteries are new, TrustFire 18650 with 2500 mAh 3.7V and they are protected with cut-off discharge 4.2V and 2.75V.. It works great with smaller batteries, but I bought the extension ring for the 18650 ones and it doesn't work.. Nothing happens when I press the button.. I checked the batteries with an instrument and they are fine.. Can anyone help me?

Clean or sand the threads on your extension. That's where your connection issue is.
