Now im down to just my LT. anyone know if the spring is replaceable?

I've read several post of people using the Silver Buller Hot Spring as a replacement. Makes sense, they both use the same diameter battery.

I'm pretty sure I seen replacement springs somewhere, I'll look. What battery are/were you using. That's more of a concern of mine than anything.

it was one of the generic knockoffs they sent with my LT (18650) i did save the battery so i could take a pic if you'd like.

and awesome i will look into getting one of the SB hot springs! and order a few AW IMR batts while im at it

Tacoma Wa,
I just got a chrome with chrome button bolt in the mail today..I got a Trustfire 18650 3000,mAh protected battery.
Is this a good safe battery for this mod?

I also have a chrome tank and i ordered one of them new chrome skull driptips to make a tower of chrome.
So i hope this is a safe battery.

I am using the Bolt with two extensions, 18650 AW IMR and the Kick. I will never go back to anything else. I have a vv ego for back up if I ever have a problem with the Bolt but its working great so far!

Do you have the "flames" battery or the silver and red BRC battery?

The "flames" battery is an OK battery based on the last tests that I saw. But there is no guarantee that it is the same cell inside as the *fire brands have been known to use whatever is cheapest without regard to any bit of standard when it comes to consistent performance.

My personal view: I don't, and won't, run a *Fire in anything I own. The inconsistency is not worth saving a couple bucks when there are so many other, better, options out there. WillyB pointed me to a good battery with a a high quality Sanyo cell inside. For an unregulated mod, I haven't seen anything with a better discharge profile.

I posted this in another thread.

A kick is a device that fits in the battery compartment on the positive end of the battery. It converts the device to a variable wattage device. Some devices like the Legacy, Silver Bullet, Siam Cube, and Bolt can extend to take a kick with an 18650. However, you can use it in any device that will take an 18650 by using an 18490 or 18500 battery along with it.

Since you don't know what a kick is, you probably don't know what variable wattage is. Watts are the energy used by the device. The Kick will detect the resistance of what you put on the device and adjust the voltage to keep the watts constant. In theory that means you get the same experience no matter what you put on it. It can boost the voltage beyond what the battery provides.

My own experience says that it works great to adjust to the changes in an atomizer as it wears. So, once you get it adjusted, it works great as long as you don't change to a different type of atty. However, if you go from say a 2.5 ohm 901 to a 1.7 ohm 306, you'll probably find you need some adjustment and it's not that easy to adjust. It also goes through batteries pretty quickly.

It's available several places Super-T, Electronix Stix, nhaler, Nhaler's the actual supplier. I've noticed that when everyone else is out, they seem to put up a few every few days.
