The Brass GGTB

COV now has all Brass GGTB tube only for sale. Finally another brass TB - beautiful. They only have a few for now so get one quick. If you dont want a brass one, then there are still all SS avail. Actually - get one of each. Great for 3.7, 6 or 7.4 volts, Penelope is awesome on them along with Odyss drip mode.

I'd love an engraved brass TB but am a little hesitant over ordering just the tube as I have no idea when and even if caps and buttons are going be produced, in fact I'm still missing the correct button for my SSTB.

Imeo will be making the caps for sure Esx - even more tubes. Re: the button - if I may suggest, forget the

TB button, put a new adjustable TS one on it. Much better anyway and they now come with brass pins too.

I ordered just the tube, thats how sure I am of more end caps coming.

I just tried the new TS button (without brass post) in the TB but find that it protrudes quite far out from the tube.

This is it screwed in with barely any throw:



I was thinking that the genuine TB button would be shorter than the TS option although I only have pictures to go on rather than the real thing so I'd be interested to hear your opinion

Yes, it does stick out quite a bit more than the TB button - thats for sure.. However, I like a larger button and I love an adjustable throw. Thats me though - YMMV


From your pic looks like you have the button screwed in too far, you can back it quite a bit out and have whatever type of throw you like. Mine is out alot further for a long throw and I like it like that. I should take a pic when I get home. I do like a big a--s button for sure.

I do prefer a long throw too but my OCD kicked in and I wanted to hide as many of the threads as possible, just as you can on the TS

I'll increase the throw and get over it!

That's what Ill probably do for now, just take everything from my SS and put it on the brass. And wait until the parts are available. I'll soon have two GGTB and two GGTS, then my collection is complete. Except for Ithaka.

That looks great dspin!! I got a tube today also, and will wait for a top cap (I think I have an extra bottom and button) or steal the one from the woody TB I got from Torqueguy.

Personally, I think Penny looks best on a TB. Slim all the way around.
