OK. I was just curious. I prefer cartos anyway. how do the 901>808 adapters you have compare to the slotted 808 connectors that you made up? and, Did you get some of the short 901>808 adapters in yet?
Hmmm... I may have to ship it back to you so I can do without the adapter. I'd have to go back to my xhaler for a few days.. hmm..

I'm glad it's you not me that has to make that choice. I really don't know if I could make it a few days without my Buzz. So inquiring minds what to know what kind of cartos you use.

I might be able to manage without for a few days.. still got some backup. I use any one of the "mega" cartos, but I think I like the v4l coolcarts a bit better, I might have to order a few more boxes of each.. just to continue my tests. I have a ton (like 120 or so) of generic 808 cartos, and only 6 or 8 mega cartos.
Depends on the juice but have been known to vape 10-15 ml of my DIY Waffle.. man it is yummy. but normally 7-8 ml a day.
Thanks jag!! I tested a CoolCart, but one carto isn't enough to really know so think I'll get more of those to try. I'm sure V4L will have a 4th of July sale coming up

Another note for those of you using 510 cartos on the Buzz:
I found that I get better results with a little more airflow than the 'standard' 901 -> 510 adapter allows for on the Buzz. I drilled a small hole in my 901 -> 510 adapter, and I'm much happier now. I 'regulate' the additional airflow by putting a small slice of a 510 carto condom around the adapter, and I cover up more or less of the hole to adjust the flow. This is working well for me.
On that note: does anyone know of a supplier that offers a 'different' 901 -> 510 adapter than the standard issue adapter that Buzz sells? I just received one from Altsmoke, and it's identical to the one that shipped with my Buzz, unfortunately. I'm specifically looking for one with a little more thickness and a little less height, if that makes sense - more like the standard issue 801 -> 510 adapters that everyone sells. I tend to like the draw better on the 801 ->510 adapters, so I'm wondering if there's anything else for me to try out there.

I have only seen the one kind of the silver 901-510 adapters. Have you tried more than one of these? When I first got them I got several and a couple of them worked different than the others. They did not have the same air flow. Just a thought.

Thanks, WitchWay. I've actually tried three adapters, each from a different supplier, and all were pretty much identical in terms of air. The 801 -> 510 adapters seem to allow for a bit more airflow in general, and I'd ideally like to replicate this with a 901 -> 510 adapter on my Buzz.
Anyway, I'm doing just fine with my modded 901 ->510 adapter for now, but the quest for perfection continues. Thanks again. ;-)

I wouldn't bank on that at all - you will probably be nothing but stoked, just like every other 510 carto user with a Buzz has reported. I'm just trying to replicate a very, very specific voltage and airflow combination to match another setup that I'm really used to, thus my nitpicking. Your standard 901 -> 510 adapter will work perfectly.
This is why I hesitate to post my esoteric minutiae musings in these threads!
