Hey 5Card, did you order your gold? Hope you don't miss out!
Not yet JC, I'm still using the beta and thought I would let everyone who needs one get theirs first so everybody is happy. Besides I'll bet Buzzkill is busy enough right now. Let me know how you like the gold one.

I DID get mine today. Thank you Buzz for the fast shipping by getting this out on Thursday!! I haven't had much time with it yet so can't give an actual review. But I will say WOW, this thing is cool!! I did have to pry it away from hubby so he's has more time with it than I have and has played with the voltage and what not. He set it for me at 4.64 volts (as tested with his multi-meter) and I'm using a 302 atty with my favorite juice on it right now. So far so good and I'm liking it a whole lot :) This will definitely be one of my main 2 PVs that I use all day. My lazers will still be my take out in public PVs though.

For reference I have tried 2 AW LiMN 16340 batteries, 2 SpiderFire Protected Li-on 16340 batteries and 2 UltraFire Protected ICR123A 3.7v batteries in it. Both the AW and SpiderFire batteries are 34mm tall and the UltraFires are 36mm tall. They all fit length wise, but the AW and the SpiderFire rattle in the tube. The UltraFire ones must be a touch bigger around and do not rattle at all in the tube. I haven't used it long enough to even know what battery life is going to be like yet.

That's all I'm saying for now because all this typing is keeping me from vaping on it LOL. I'll do an actual review after I've used it for a few days.

Happy Vaping!

Thanks Stud!! I'm excited about this. I have all sorts of attys and cartos to try, but think I'll keep it on this set up for a couple days before I go crazy experimenting.

Oh and incase nobody has tested out the atty shorting out protection to know if it actually works or not. I've tested it and it DOES work LOL It was an accident, but it got tested all the same. I put on an older 901 first just to make sure it worked, then we played with things a bit and had the atty off. When I put the atty back on I did notice it seem to screw down further but really didn't think anything of it at the moment. Well I hit the button and the LED went to a reddish orange color and nothing else happened. When I removed the atty, the pin was pushed clear up into the bottom of the atty. This WAS NOT caused by the Buzz, I probably screwed it on too tight onto something else along the line and it was weak and when I put it on the Buzz it gave out. Bottom line is that it did cause a short in the atty and the Buzz handled it just the way it is advertised to. I have shorted an atty on another PV in the past and let me tell you the battery got real hot real fast when it happened. Scared the heck out of me and I think I got lucky that nothing worse happened. Well with the Buzz no heat what so ever. There was nothing but the light turning a reddish orange color. The protection did not allow the short to reach the batteries. So good job on that!

Ok I'm off to put in Daybreakers to watch, this way I can chain vape and give it a real workout :D

Awwww I'm sorry jc, I was so hoping you got yours today too. But you'll be very happy when you get it Tuesday.

Whooooo hoooooo a chance to use my caliper. I'm so easily amused LOL It's 22mm diameter and 105mm tall with the end caps on, not counting the atty threads, so top of end cap to bottom of bottom cap. It's bigger around than I expected, but it still easy to hold. With the batteries in, but no atty on it weighs 3.6 oz

Glad things are going good with the Buzz WItchway ! , you can stretch the spring a bit to tighten up the short batteries .
The batteries vary SO MUCH from MFG to MFG and protected vs. non protected I had to make it long enough to fit the batteries with 2 pcb's on them so Non protected batts can be kind of loose .
Stretching the spring helps.

I was amazed at the range of batteries that fit. I have ones from 33mm to 36mm tall and they all fit in pairs. Getting all the different batteries to fit seems impossible, but you managed to do it! I will try the spring trick. The rattle is not bad and doesn't actually bother me, but it may someone else is why I mentioned it. I have 10 of the UltraFires coming from China and once they get here, they will be all I use in it. Until then I'm good with the other 10 batteries I have LOL I did get 10+ hours out of a pair of AW High Drain LiMN batteries and about 7 hours out of a pair of AW regular Li-on batteries. I have the UltraFires in now to see how they last. I've been using the Buzz pretty hard too. I'm big on chain vaping and taking long hard hits. Although with the higher voltage I have to watch those long hard hits as I have choked myself several times already.

24 hours in and I'm a happy camper. Right now it looks like I might be ordering a green one for hubby for Father's Day. He's never really cared about having a mod. He does have a lazer mod and a tornado that I handed down to him, but he doesn't care about having anything else. Until now and he really likes the adjustable voltage on the Buzz.

I do have one question... the screw that is in the adapter as the pin, can it be turned to either make it higher or lower? I didn't want to turn it without asking first. I'd cry if I messed something up.

Thank you BuzzKill!! The Buzz is definitely impressive!!

The screw cannot be adjusted , Dont turn it the hot or Positive connection to the atty is inside of there . I have some lower screws ( slotted type )
I can send you some , I measured 10 different 901 type connectors and designed it to that height BUT ?? so I will be using the lower type screw from now on ( MFG can be a PITA sometimes )

I will walk you though replacing the screw with the lower type ( it;s pretty easy ! )

thanks Buzz. I was actually wanting it higher. The 302s even with an adapter tend to need the pin set really high. This one is working wonderfully, but I was just curious if it was adjustable or not since it is a screw. Like I said, I didn't want to turn anything without asking :) Note to self, DO NOT TURN SCREW IN ADAPTER!

I seem to be doing a review in bits and pieces, but my latest observations are... I like the finish, it is very nice to feel against the hand. Very clean, even finish that looks fantastic! The knurled(sp) end caps are a real plus!!!! I have extremely smooth finger tips and smooth end caps give me fits, so I thank you for adding the knurl to the end caps. And lastly... I haven't had a LED on a PV in a long time and when I did, I didn't like them. This one however is not overly bright or offensive. It's there, it's visible, but doesn't blind you or stand out in a bad way. So on those points more
