Been following this thread with great interest and this PV sounds like the Holy Grail of PVs. Buzz you stated that you're considering a modification on the next run so that the unit can accomidate 18350 batts, when will this run be? Just want to see when that is and determine if I can wait that long.

Jumpy I have about 200 units left , the change will take place after those are gone sorry to say but it is what it is . I found another MFG for the tube that will make the change and not charge me $500 each !

Sounds as though the battery life is pretty darn good as is, besides I can't wait any longer....ordering a blue one.

Witch, how are you measuring your voltage? Did you get the extra attachment?

Hey, Wolf, are you in northern TN or southern (or east or west)?

I have the same type of attachment that Buzz sells and I use that. I already had it so I didn't get one of his. It really helps with the testing and takes out the risk of ruining something. I do recommend getting one if you don't already have one. I have them for all the different type of connectors I use.

Happy vaping!

yep..should be threaded for 901...so just screw it on..attach the clips to the multimeter leads..watch polarity(ie red/black) and then hit Buzz switch and check reading. Probably set multi-meter to about 20v and that should give a decent reading.

Yeah it helps to have a map to find me...cause if you ask for directions they'll tell you to turn at JimBob's farm and go down a piece and then turn again at the ol' Mobil station(which of course hasn't been there in 20 yrs) and then drive past ol' man Johnson's barn and it's the 3 house on the left..errr..was that right...LOL!

I got the attachment to measure voltage. You can pick up multimeters pretty cheap but you can pick up a good one from Lowe's for $21.79.

IDEAL Resi-Pro Digital Multimeter

It's the same one Steve from Puresmoker uses. He also has a thread about measuring voltage with photos at this link.

Very useful info!!! That's the same multimeter I have, glad to know I got the right one LOL And I got it at Lowe's!!

Sorry for the late reply , I went to a friends BDay party last night ( Owwww !! ) We are making PCB's right now I will NOT get anything out today , I should have some ready by tomorrow ?
Worst case is monday for shipping ( I changed the shipping to 3-5 days so I have time to make them without a rush ! , improves reliability that way )

YA 18650 is STUPID on my part I meant 18350 ? and they are around 1200mah for the Ultrafires !

MY BAD not sure what I was on  at the time ?

Hey 5 card-have you had any problems with the Buzz killing atties? I swear somethings up with mine, can't seem to make them last more than 2 days. 1 901 lasted only a few hours, the other one 1 day. Better luck using 510 adapter that one lasted 2 days. I haven't messed with the voltage settings still factory preset, haven't had time to mess with it because I've been moving. Just wondering?

Lower your voltage setting. It's too high. I believe Buzzkill has a chart that shows the settings. I used 510, 801 and 901 atty's during testing and went to extremes but never lost a one.:)

ok..ordered my Buzz(in black) last night..so I'm pacing already! I also ordered the new GG AFSv2 to put on top of it. This should be a radical vaping experience for sure! I'll be able to not only dial in the voltage, but the juice and draw. I have 901 atties and kr808d cartos to go in it too. The only thing I'm worried about is losing some battery time length vs my SB and FogLog with 18650, but I've got 3 pairs of 16340's standing by and 4 charger slots...so I should be ok for the moment. I'll post some pics when I get it all set up and running!

Let us know how that woeks with the AFS. I'm curious.:vapor:

Yeah, I already have a multimeter, but I was just wondering if you guys/girls were measuring at the Buzz adapter or not.

Wolf, I'm gonna need a map to find you. :) I just don't know where that is.

I don't, but I'm the type of guy who doesn.t read instruction booklets either. I put it on, give it a small test hit and if it's to high I turn it down, to low turn it up. But I've been using one for a while and know kinda where my starting level should be before I start and do a ballpark preset.

We'll see how they pan out , you know how it can be ! IF they are for real thats a good deal
