Hi Buzz,

On the V2 you have said that 510 is to come, that's good. What I'd like to see is a different actuator button. The unit itself is pretty complete and good as is. Except, I'd like a larger button because the current one, while easy to press, is so small that it digs into your finger or thumb in my case and becomes a bit annoying after a while. A larger button would also stop the sharp beveled edge of the button cut out on the body from scraping on your finger as well, also a bit annoying. So a larger button, that would make the unit ideal. Just my suggestion after using the unit. It's only a a small criticism but would make the unit complete IMV.

How about a touch sensor like on the Precious?

Kind of Ugly but ?

DUH.. wonder if my bottle and tubing from my mr puffer will work for this..

Jag.. you would beat up an old lady??? :glare:

Later: I rigged up my feed system from the puffer on a hello 016 and it worked.. granted not pretty but it is pretty handy while sitting at puter and not wanting to mess with dripping etc.

You sound like me. I read every thread I could find on several forums about the Buzz before I bought it. :D

yep. every purchase is well thought out. finances have always dictated that rule. got burned by the JB so i'm even more careful. this mod isn't much on looks ( i love the one in buzz's avatar though. the etching cheapens the finished design), but the size isn't too bad (SB is too HUGE for my hands) and the electronics do the job.

one thing that always confuses me about mods is I look at the size of the batteries it takes and think, wth the batteries are small = why is the mod humongous?! I guess it's the electronics in there that pack the space?

buzz, one thing i would be careful of and it probably sent the CJB to it's early demise = if it ain't broke, don't fix it. all those incremental 'improvements' screwed up what was a great mod and the complaints flied until it became a has been. it seems like those that have the Buzz are very happy with the way it works now. Only improvement i would want is a plug for the adjustable screw hole, because i live in a dusty environment and have pets.

Features that vapers have been looking for are already there. varivolt and regulated power. I looked at cisco's PWM (pulse?) thread and for myself that would be overkill with features i don't need/want to be bothered with, and certainly wouldn't pay a premium for, as much as i think Cisco is the most quality modder out there. I'm one of those ppl that doesn't use 90% of my cell phone features, but the ones I need I use.

Same thing I believe for the Prodigy V1? future incarnations removed some good features and brought on all kinds of problems. I can't remember and I don't have one, but I haven't bought one b/c of the constant QC problems. Now when I think they have them ironed out, it's lost the 3.7/+ ability and I'm not interested in a mod stuck at 6 volts.

i have one more question though. i don't remember what page it was on, but something about the next incarnations safety features will have a shutdown feature when the previous safety features are breeched? don't quote me, but something like that.

if that's true then what are the safety features now and what do they do? ie: does it tell me somethings screwed up and keep working, or does it prevent me from using it in a safe manner via stop working?

sorry if it's a dumb question. I know nothing about electronics. absolutely nothing! my brain can't even understand those V/incremental turn graphs. pathetic fartitis brain lol

thx for any help in my decision :p

ps - another feature that has been on my got to have list, is a safety on/off switch. The T1 (? super t manufacturing) had one and new incarnations did away with it, so I haven't looked at them any further.

it's not a deal breaker, but i get paranoid about autofiring. even my flashlight mod with an 18650 battery freaks me out a bit when i know the button is in a position that won't be pushed accidentally. lol tells you how much i know about electronics!

I have been waiting a long time for a mod like this. I have a couple very quick questions.. I've read all 50 pgs of this thread lol.

I've already emailed you buzz and know my batteries will work.

questions:

if the next run will have the body reamed out to fit 18350's, won't that cause 16340's to rattle? I hate batteries rattling lol

the next run will have improvements and better fail safes, but I really would rather order now (if you have any left) so I don't have a rattle problem. All I want is something that won't blow up on me and it sounds like you've taken care of those issues, minus an act of god lol, so this one should be just fine. OR, should I wait for the next run and what would that time frame be?

the epoxy on the POT should take care of any loose issues with the tuning screw. so that eliminates one question.

the final question is what is the optional ring to seal it? is it internal or external and is it hard to put on?

dammit another question = if i read the last few pages right, if i order this w/e it will have a longer wire so no worries of the top screw/cap jiggling it loose like others have run in to? i forget who, but someone posted that the end cap was coming off as they were unscrewing a 510 atty I think?

What really sells me on this is the dial in ability and the battery voltage till the end. many atties don't get hot enough to burn the juice, so i get more nic from the liquid in my mouth than i do through vapor. some days I just switch to zero nic b/c i'm tired of a burning tongue ;)

that gold one looks really pretty. Can't decide > black or gold lol

With a HUGE variation in battery sizes and diameters there will alway be a set that rattles !
Nothing I can do about that EXCEPT to use a business card and stick it into the tube to tighten uo the rattling batteries !!!! WOW thats easy LMAO. For the 18350 batts , on the next run ( 4 weeks or so away ! ) the tube will be big enough for those batts . and YES a 16340 will rattle ( see above fix ) . Hold the top cap when removing attys.

No On/Off switch on the Buzz BUT the small size and recessed nature of the switch reduces most firing in the pocket issues :toast:

Hype I am 100% OUT OF SPACE! I packed in a lot of electronics in a VERY tight space ( I 3d modeled the whole thing to make it fit ! only like 150 hrs doing that LMAO ! )

There is only so much that will fit in a 1" x .75" space :p

As far as improvements go , Nothing will be eliminated ONLY added ! , the function will remain as well as the basic design .

IF you want a pretty Mod by a Ferrari ( make sure to get the BIG motor !)

To me function has always been the main thing , prettiness is always second in my book !
I could hire a ergonomic guy and a pretty guy to help but HEY this is a small market ?.
IF I could sell say 10,000 units you would have the Lamborghini of vaping tools .

lol buzz. you must have missed my point about getting the JB? that should tell you looks aren't high on my list, but us women do notice :)

i just want the one in your avatar! stunning copper color :toast:

yeah i could do the cardboard thing. my flashlight mod actually has a removable tube of PVC for a smaller diameter battery. I just don't want one that sounds like a shake light and that's why i asked.

Juicefreak, I do allot of woodwork too and it gets very dusty in the shop at times and it has never been a problem. Oh and I do live in a house with mass pets so the hair thing hasn't been an issue either, I just blow it off and I've never noticed any dust inside. The button is situated so when I lay it down it doesn't go off by itself and hasn't ever in my pocket. He did a great job building this mod and I really like it.

I like your new avatar. It looks like a 33 Ford. Those have always been one of my favorite rides ever since I saw the movie "The California Kid" back in the 70s.

I'm not into dripping either. I guess I'm too lazy to be dripping every few minutes. I use a mega cart with Fluval and get lots of flavor and longevity out them. I usually only need to top them off every few hours.

Ya thats a 33 ford coupe. I grew up first cleaning and sanding show cars and hotrods and then building them. My favorite one is a chopped 34 ford vicky:toast:. The one in my avatar is just a drawing of a 33 that looks to be channeled.

i don't know if pvc pipe has different internal diameters or not. you'd have to check for clearances inner/outer. I know the pvc enables going from a 14500 to an 18650 in the flashlight, with no rattle. they probably have thin pvc sleeves of different thickness too, or rubber. make a tube with a bead of something or maybe even an iron would stick them together? or velcro to adjust as needed.

hey i forget all the questions i asked, but what about shut down features now if something is hosed? I know reverse battery will prevent use, low battery indicator, shorted atty = does it shut down and protect the batteries? i forget what the other safety feature was (besides the blow holes)

thx 5card. i just got done detailing the truck with my zoom groom rubber brush lol. it was full of dog hair. zoom groom's make quick work of animal hair. just dampen it and rake the upholstery with a shop vac to suck up a ton of hair as it comes off.
