This is a little after the fact but... Is the warranty transferable? I just bought the Buzz and a Mako from Firhill. I don't expect any problems but I thought I'd ask anyway. Also, I use 510 cartomizers (just starting so I don't have a supply of other atty's yet) so I'm a little anxious about leakage. I'm using a flashlight mod with a sealed 510 connector now so I wouldn't have to worry about it. I read all 53 of the previous pages and it's just making my decision to get a Buzz that much sweeter! I know everyone is saying not to worry about the leakage, and even recommended a few adapters but I can't remember which page it was on now. I'm a knuckle buster/trained gorilla type so I like my stuff overbuilt and redundant to the point of ridiculous.

Along with thanking Buzzkill for making this mod, I'd like to thank all the rest of you for sharing your experience and saving me a lot of time and money by not buying the wrong stuff!

Thanks all!

Yeah I think all threads should have a shorthand findings post at the beginning that lists battery, atty's/adapter, and holster recommendations. Also a mini FAQ for concerns/corrections but that's just me. I think it would cut the post counts of most threads down considerably not to mention eye strain! I'm excited, it looks like my Buzz is arriving today, must remember to post positive feedback for Firhil, that's seriously fast.

I bought from Firhill before and it was a great deal. Your going to like the Buzz. I was showing all my PVs and mods to someone yesterday and I think the count was around 15. I realized 14 of them aren't being used since I got the Buzz.

I would love to have separated threads BUT until we become a FORUM SUPPLIER with our own forum I cannot , I can have a max of 2 threads at a time ( thanks Craig for spamming the forums ! ) You had to be there .

:toast:

Just ask if you have any questions Whynot :D

The warranty is attached to the BUYER , that is the only way we can effectively keep tract of who has what ! Firhill can always return it IF needed. ( sorry but transferable warranties at this time is not something I can do )

No worries, the price was right for two mods at once (don't know why firhill didn't want them anymore, maybe another mod on the way for him) so I'll take the risk, it looks like you built it to last anyway!

About the second thread thing, I didn't mean a completely different thread, just an overall update on the first page of the thread that covers things like better/best batteries, better/best atty size adapters, better/best carry gear. You know things like the harness the eGo has vs a flashlight holster type stuff.

You being the creator have the loudest voice concerning your product and would best know which accessories work and which ones 'might' and which ones just absolutely beg for mercy. I'm not saying you should go out and test every single atty, cart, cartomizer, and adapter from every different vendor but I'm sure you've run across some that work better than others during your (and your beta's) testing that the avg joe would appreciate knowing about. Just a random example would be: XXX brand carto from XXX tends to blow out @ 4.3V so you might not want to run past 4.0 with it.

IDK just an idea of something you could add into your first post as an updated edit.

Buzz, you mentioned earlier that you'll be boring out the the buzz in V2 so it will take an 18650. How about extending the tube to take 2 x 18650 in series. If you really get it to buzz it could be used for other things.

No, seriously, 2 x 18650 would last ages and at home, who cares about how long it is. It could be a boutique model for the hardcore Vapers out here. Just a thought, I'd buy one. ;)
