The screw isn't adjustable, it holds the positive wire to the connector. That is a 901 connector and you need the adapter for 901 to 808. I know the threads are the same but it works better with the adapter.

I have an adapter, but the adapter center is too thick, and I can't screw the adapter all the way down, or I can't get the carto on. I guess I'll order a few difft type of adapters and see what works.:vapor:

ok, I have 2 difft adapters, 901-808 (neither are from you) and if I screw the adapter all the way down, the center post is too high for me to screw on a carto. if I only screw on the adapter half way, I can get a carto on enough that it's usable. I love the buzz, I think it's an issue with my adapters. I'll get an adapter from you and try that. but I absolutely love this thing. I'm assuming it'll work with 2 3.0v batteries too?

Try putting the cartomizer on the adapter first and then on the buzz.

There is a lot of variation from adapter to adapter , I have some slotted screws that can lower the center post .

I am getting some shorties soon BUT I have not tried then yet.

Hey Hey :) I just sent you a PM with an idea about the screw/center post that hubby came up with to fix the variation problem.

Happy Vaping!!

Congrats Miximan!

So tonight I'm trying a SmokeStik 4081 cartomizer on the Buzz set at 4.9 volts. I ordered a 901-4081 adapter but it isn't here yet so I'm using a 901-510 topped with a 510-4081 adapter. This carto tested at 3.3ohm and I could probably get away with a higher voltage, but it came prefilled with menthol and any higher on the voltage the menthol would kill me. I've had real good luck with these cartos not burning at 3.7v so thought I'd see how it did with the higher voltage. The Buzz just makes experimenting so much fun!!!!

tried that. if I do that, I can't get the adapter on the buzz.
I was having trouble with 510 cartos so I checked the thread of the carto and noticed that the thread was 1mm longer than the positive post. So I simply filed down the thread and the post by 2 mm, filed a new air line on the positive post and now it screws in perfectly and works great. :toast:
