HBD!

It's a good present. I just got mine today and am loving it so far. I'm actually vaping a strawberry flavor that I thought was useless before now. 4.5v and it tastes like a strawberry shake! So good.

Not a problem. If anything I should be thanking you for getting my order out so promptly. So... Thanks!

It's my Birthday on the 7th, that's why I was a little less than patient. This is my present to myself this year! I just wanted to make sure it gets here in time...

Thanks for all your hard work on this thing BuzzKill!
I have been a vaper for over a year now, and had yet to be moved buy any of the other battery mods on the market. This truly is the first one that tickled my fancy. I am very excited, and grateful. Keep up the hard work.

mix... congrats on getting your Buzz today!!!

Salt... Happy happy early birthday!!! You'll love the Buzz no matter what color it is and hey now you have an excuse to get a second one :)

So I got the new 901 top with a hole drilled in it to make it usable with the 808 cartos. Short story... It works ;) Hubby actually put it on his Buzz and I kept my Buzz as is with a 901-808 adapter. I used three different brand 808 cartos on each unit. All worked and the revised top had an ever so slight less difference in air draw on all three. My guess is that the slotted version will be the same as using an adapter.

The second part of the test was to see if the revised top would have any effect on a 901 atty. Short story... Well it may, but it is so minute that it's hard to tell. I did not bother with the o-ring and I'll explain why. 901 attys do not draw air through the bottom, they draw it through the hole in the side. The 901 attys have a solid edge on the bottom of the connector and no slots in the threads to allow air through that way. An 808 carto on the other hand does not have a side hole but DOES have slots in the bottom for the air draw. This is why you need either a hole or slots in the connector on the device to work with the 808 cartos, but not with a 901 atty and why having a hole or slots in the connector on the device does not affect the 901 atty.

Conclusion... Buzz make one top with slots and call it a 901/808 connector and both cartos and 901 attys will work and no need to send an o-ring.

Ok that was my smart hour for the day, now back to being ditzy  Guess I have to give hubby's Buzz back now too :(

Happy Vaping!!!!

Witch I noticed a difference , a slight one but a difference . I like your Idea ! wanna job LOL .
I will look into that , I think that it would work IF I put an O-ring in there just in case . ( they are cheap so )

Have a Ditsy night LMAO

Tell Hubby thanks for the help , You TOO !

By the time your done with all the changes it should be perfect !!!!!

I received my second buzz today with the 901 connector and a hole in it. I came to the same conclusion as Witch. If there is a difference it is so small I couldn't tell. I like the fact I no longer have to use an adapter to run cartomizers. Buzz thanks for everything. I did noticed one thing different on this buzz from my first one. The led sticks out the hole on this one and I mistakenly think it's the switch. Buzz was there a reason for this? I kinda like my first one with the recessed led better. Don't mistake it for the switch. Other than this small issue this thing rocks.

You can push on it and it will move in some ( you will be bending a lead to the led ) do not push to hard ! be careful there is a IC behind it that keeps it in place but it should move.
Will you be done tomorrow?:p

Mike

It won't move at all. It's no big deal because it sticks out farther than the switch so I know which one's which now.

Oh you're lucky!! Mine sticks out the same as the button, plus it does give slightly when pressed so you think you are pressing the button  I actually find it quite amusing so I'm really not complaining :)

Katya... hiya :) Unfortunately you are not going to find anything that is small like you want and has true varible voltage because of the batteries it takes to make it happen.

Mike... is it possible to make a small mod, not that you have time, this is just a question on if it's possible or not, that is from a single 3.7v 14500 battery that is boosted to do 4.5 volts?

Happy Vaping!!

Hiya to you, Witchway, my late night companion!

That's the thing, I really believe that this is the future of e-cigs. Dial a voltage! Or even something with three preset voltages, like the Fistpack. Except the Fistpack is High Voltage. What I would like to see is a small mod that goes from 3.7 to 4.5v or so, with either a dial feature like the Buzz, or three preset voltages, say 3.7. 4.1 and 4.5v. Brilliant!

So, by the end of this week? Or more like Monday? :D

Just wanted to stop by real quick and leave some praise for Buzz. I got my buzz yesterday and have yet to put her down. Man this thing is great. Tremendous amount of vapor and awesome flavor. Hands down my best PV, and I own some well regarded ones. Great work Mike, thanks a million

Congrats Take!!!!! I think you may be the first one to refer to your Buzz as a 'her'. Maybe we can get your her and my him together and make baby buzzes

Happy Vaping!!!

I'll be getting some pics of a red one up in a few days.. since that's actually what I ordered but there was some confusion and I ended up with silver hehe.. I feel the same way though WitchWay! I didn't think I'd like the silver/brass but it's actually very classy looking! Maybe later down the line I'll end up with one.. Or maybe when version 2 hits the streets I'll go silver then lol
