Dear all , a very good day to everyone ,
My name is Sahil and i live in New Delhi , India , am 40 and have been vaping for the past ( 3 years in June ) .

started off with the green smokes , then the titan kit , the ego and onwards , currently use boge 510's and fusion 801 cartos .

I do remember the days of using 510 atyys and a cart with polly , then tea bags and then blue foam , i am not to sure how many of you here will remember and go back so much in time .

Anyway , the cleanest and most flavorful vape i got was using a 510 atty while dripping on it .

I now use cartos for the convenience of tanks and the " NO - Faf " part of them .

Recently i see so many vendors and companies making re-buildables and using mesh and silica etc , it confuses the hell out of me tbh .

Now coming to the concept part of it ,
An atomizer is a coil with a bit of wick in it , we drip juice on it ( in various diff forms like bottom feeders , dripping , carts , top feeders etc )
the wick gets wet with the juice and the coil gets hot , the juice evaporates due to the heat and we get vapor .

My question is : why are people making so many devices where the juice has to wick UP to a coil , why not have the juice flow down or have juice surround the coil .

all or most of the re-buildables i see have a juice tank on the bottom part and then silica or mesh trying to get the juice UP tot he coil .
why cant there be more innovation towards getting juice down and let gravity help !! .

Also if there are any such tanks or atomizers out there " WHICH WORK WELL ' would anyone of you kind people help me decicing which one to buy .
I did see one , but it held only 2 mil of juice ... i feel the kanger t3 is right on track with the concept "to say " , but gurgling and leaking from the bottom are a concern for me .

i thank you all for reading the post above and wold love to know
your thoughts regarding the same .

wishing you all well
warm regards
Sahil .

presently mainly using . provari's , reo grand vv , billet box , vv box mod , cartoz and tanks . and an A7 rebuild-able atty .
have tried mostly all clearos too -:)

The problem with bottom coils seems to be keeping gravity from helping too much, leading to flooding. I agree that the Kanger T3 is a move in the right direction, and the Evod model may be even better now that the internal coil assembly can be removed and replaced or rebuilt rather easily. The technology is moving so much faster now that I'm sure 2013 will bring further improvements.

I'm right there with you, Sahil. I remember going to a craft store to buy poly-fil and a restaurant supply store to buy coffee stirs so I could re-make my cartridges. Anybody else remember the "straw mod?" I'm blown away by how far this technology has come in the past 4 years. Providing this whole industry isn't shut down by ignorance, I forsee some pretty serious advancements over the next 12-18 months. It's exciting!

Vivi Nova isn't a bottom coil. I think the Kanger T3 is, and the vape is nice. I don't think it really matters if the wick is top or bottom as long as the design works. Both designs will have their negatives. For now i think the better top wick designs are superior even if you have to vape with your wick in the juice. The genesis style design is very good, simple, and works very well. I think there may always be leakage issues or maintenance issues with bottom wick designs.

.4 mil eroll tank and atty
That erolls size cCAN be worked with. Taste is great. I'm a carto/tank vaper too...or was. I'll get back to it. Problem is I load up with a juice and the juice isn't floating my boat that much and I have a whole 6 ml tank of it. The tube atty combo functions on pressurized whatever

I've been thinking about this too. I hope someday I will be able to design and build a prototype of my own. It would also enable the condensed vapor to fall back to the tank/wick/coil.

One issue with all bottom coils is that when coming to a warm room from cold outside, the air in the tank will expand and push some liquid out. My T3's always leak a bit when coming back in the house. Shouldn't be an issue in summer, but at the moment the temperature difference is 30°C (54°F). That is 10% difference in the air volume, which means 0.2ml of juice pushed out when the tank is half full. Keeping the T3 upside down didn't do much good as juice then leaked to the mouthpiece, but I'll try sideways with the wick in vertical position next.

Anyway, all that jazz required is a show stopper for most users. A Vivi Nova (or any top coil) on the other hand will let the air pass quite freely, so no leaking occurs.

Hey Sahil, I've seen you in the Billet Box thread (eagerly waiting for shipment, so I really appreciated your review). Anyway, your post sent me on one of those research trails across the internet. In my search, I came across the kanger evod. I don't know if it has some of the same issues as the T3, but it looks like an improvement, and might be something to look into. Here's a youtube review:

I have been really impressed with the Drunker tank Drunker Rebuildable Tank . Somewhat similar to the Vivi but uses 4 wicks to feed a rebuildable coil. It has a vapor chamber above the coil like most rebuildables as well. Even down to under a quarter of a tank and stored standing up I don't get dry hits. I also have one of the Vapeonly BCC tanks on order. It is a replaceable bottom coil tank. Vapeonly 3.5ml BCC (Bottom Coil Changeable) Mega Tank . Going to try the Kanger EVOD BCC as well Kanger eGo 2.4ml EVOD MT BCC Cartomizer- New Colors .
