Wow talk about a thread moving quickly.....LOL. For those who asked here is a video of a house we were renting when we lived in Perth, over on the West Coast of Australia. Very unique and an awesome house to live in. The video is quite long at 18 minutes of so, but it is a full tour of the house with my darling wife doing the narration (for those who would like to hear an Aussie accent :))

Not the greatest quality I'm afraid as it was filmed prior to us getting our HD camera, so for those who care to watch, enjoy. I think I am even in there "working" from home that day :)

Good Morning everyone! Having my coffee and catching up here. And I see I get a movie with my coffee, cool!

Wow, I absolutely LOVE the house. That is just amazing. Thanks for sharing!

Magnus, No hurry, everyone will be here when you have time to do it.

I've tried two methods.

The first that 36 referenced involves boiling the cartos several times with clean water each time for 10 minutes each until the bubbles look like normal boiling water bubbles, not "juicy" bubbles like you get when you heat up sugar to make a caramel (at least that was my take on it), and the water vapor doesn't smell. After that you blow out as much water as possible and let them dry overnight with a paper towel stuffed in them to help draw out the water.

The 2nd method involved using the sink sprayer to spray out the juice. Test by sucking on the batt end of a carto every once in a while until they taste clean. Blow out as much water as possible and bake in the oven at 100 degrees for 3 hours.

Both methods worked. Just WAY too much trouble for my liking. I don't even like to vacuum, only do it because I hate dirt and dust more. :)

With the cost of water where we live, I think it is cheaper to buy new.

I'm going to try the boil method just to say I've done it and I can weigh in on those threads. But I don't see it being a common practice...especially now that a couple carto vendors have dramatically reduced their prices on Boges. I'd be surprised if others didn't follow suit to be able to compete, making them more affordable all around and cheaper to replace.

I did clean cartos for months when I first starting vaping. Once I figured out attys and how much easier and more economical they are I stopped using cartos all together. I understand that many people do prefer them, and for something like an ego they are still the best option.
Me, I am a bottom feeder kinda gal. That sounds awful! LOL

I know I should of asked before I ordered one, but do you think an ultrasonic jewelry cleaner will clean attys? My wife is ready to pitch attys because it is getting hard to "drag" on it. Low air flow because of build up in the atty but the ohm measurement is still almost like new, around 2.2 ohms. I already ordered one so I guess I can answer my own question next week but just wondered if anyone else thought it was worth the effort?

I swear by mine for cleaning attys. If they are super gunky I throw a denture cleaning tablet in there too. Then just rinse, dry and they are good to go. Definitely worth buying and much easier than boiling. Just keep hitting the start button for more cycles until they look good. I usually do it three times, I believe the cycle is 3 minutes. I use distilled water in mine, as we have very hard water here which does create a buildup of it's own.

I've been looking at some bottom feeders recently (

lol), but I'm just kind of viewing random ones without a good way to compare. I can see some of the folks around Copper Creek seem to have their preference...fill me in~ what do you guys look for in a bottom feeder? Quality obviously, but what else? Batt life, juice capacity, material (wood vs metal), ease or difficulty of use, price? Which ones have you guys picked and why? All I know is I'd like to find something where when I head out the door, I don't have to stop for 5 minutes to load up a case with extra batts, a couple juice bottles, etc etc. You guys are an informed bunch - anyone care to educate me? (I know there are forums for just this stuff.....but I like you guys better :D )
