tornados and lightening...we get it all..

bc, at least you're not driving it in tonight. We caught those tornados coming through Northern IL this spring. Loves told everyone to come inside and get in the stock room. I tucked in between two other trucks and sat in the sleeper with the dogs and said my prayers.
I know what you mean, FV, I have been chased by several tornadoes this year, including Joplin Mo. Getting used to them at this point.
Lol! I gotta say that some of those zombie movies have been great- 28 Days After -and the one with Seth Green was freaking hilarious!
the hybrids are 306's in a 510 sleeve and the bottom feeder ones have slits in bottom so you can't flood them..
We had a tornado here this spring, the first I actually was near, and I heard the freight train. Scared me - made the cat nuts keeping her in the tub with me, lol!
Joplin was scary. I was sitting it out just outside the city. I hate that no where to hide feeling.

we got caught in a tornado in upstate NY...very scary...
then afterwards there were big wind/rain storms for about
12 hours....was glad to get out of there..

I was sohthbound about 15 minutes before it came through, heading for Beaumont TX with an oversized load. Not fun, but nowhere near as bad as the folks at the petro had it.

Being from Nebraska originally, I am kinda used to tornadoes. That doesn't make them less dangerous, or less nerve wracking, but less panic ay the sight of them I guess.
I am sure it prolly is FV, wish I could get used to it. Oh, and make a decent living staying home as well. LOL
