Ya know, there are some things that you should buy in person and tools for me are just such a thing. I figure I already have to wait on enough mail and if a tool doesn't function as advertised I can just take it back right then. Didn't mean to interrupt. haha

I got the one from madvapes for 8 bucks.. It would heat the solder but it wouldn't drop. It would clump up on the end. I had to clip about 2 inches of solder because it just wouldn't heat up enough to drop.

Hi Water! Yup, done. He wasn't limping after I pulled the quills, but he's limping with the bandage on even though it's wrapped pretty loosely. Poor thing!

Sallie, I had a stupid/clever Bassett for 12 years who did that same stunt for pity. Worked every time! Felt guilty, in case it was real!

Heat the wire not the solder. If you can swing it anyway. I used to mod my guitars all the time and this buddy of mine is like a luthier genius in ATL. He told me that years back and with that method, I never had a failure.

I let go of the 5volts a minute ago to top off, the 3.7 and 1 ego are done, I will do this one in a bit. I think I will be good! I never smoked the way I vape, funny. But vaping just tastes so much better!
