She'll deff learn how to play Victor will help her learn all will be good just one day at a time. My beagle was 3 she was a puppy mill.didn't even know what grass was.She was always in a wire bottomed cage. When she smelled her first rabbit trail she went crazy.I laugh and cried.Abb was afraid of toys at first but now always has one with her most of the time.Has to take one along outside every time she goes out.Still terrified of car rides.Abbs come along way in the last 5 yrs.

Thank you Drott, wasn't sure. We have no idea where she comes from. She is very sweet, but confused. Poor girl. Of course Victor is so in your face, and it is a bit much for her. They are already doing a bit better, now that they are tired. Finally got her to lay down on a bed, she was scared of it. But she isn't really sleeping, if I make a tiny noise her eyes pop open. I just want her to be happy here. So far so good. Jake is out cold, he's old and wants to be left alone.

We are back. Kind of settling in. Kind of.

Lily is a lovely dog. Did not puke, pee or climb over the seat in the car. That's a good start.

She loves Jake, he does not like her. Victor loves her, she wants Victor to knock it off and leave her alone. Mr. V is keeping peace right now so that I can check in. No one is hurting anyone, just some warning grumbles and pokes at each other. They will be fine. Mr. V and I are tired already. LOL

She has a few odd behaviors, like standing behind your chair with her eyes closed while you eat. But she does not beg, is staying off the counters after I scolded her once. She has a UTI (I think) so I will call the vet on Monday.

We love her.

I hear growling and Mr. V saying NO. Better go see what's going on out there.

Oh, Sallie! A second weim came in to the shelter. Her name is Buffy. Her daddy passed away so his son dropped her off there. She's very nice. Kris thought of us right away.

You need Buffy! :D

Yay for Lily coming home! I'm so happy for all of you. It will all be okay soon. :)

She's trying to sleep standing up. Its funny and sad all at the same time.

Zach and Simon both do that. It's is funny, don't be sad. It's just a weim thing. It's like they don't want to miss a thing so they won't go lie down, but they're too tired to keep their eyes open. Just like little kids. :) There are quite a few strange things that they do that we eventually learned is typical weim behavior.
