Ford was actually in the worst shape of all three car companies. For all intents and purposes it failed in 2007 and they restructured with private capital. Unfortunately for GM and Chrysler (who were chronically ill but not believed to be terminally ill) when the recession hit in 2008 there was no possible way that any bank or financing company would have put large amounts of money into anything. Financing dried up completely. Ford just happened to be one of the weakest companies out there financially, so it failed ahead of the near depression when Lehman collapsed.
It took advantage of those (like Carl Icahn) that missed the coming recession and bet big on helping it restructure only to lose tons of money on that in 08 and 09. By 2008 noone would loan anybody anything.

why would I yell?...seems if anyone has a different opinion and puts it forth ..they're yelling..
laying off or Gov't subsidized?....so we pay to keep
people working instead of having them produce quality cars people will buy???

example...Vendor A makes yuck juice that no one buys
and Vendor C makes yummy juice everyone wants and buys...
should all of us vapers send a little money to Vendor A to keep them
in business or let the market determine itself?

The Chevy/Ford convo is over as of right now. This is a friendly juice chit chat thread, or it always has been. Let's get back to that please.
Did you get it yet SP? They screw into the end nearest the power cord. With mine, I can just set them in the little "trench" and push them up and turn until they are screwed in. This is the same end where the "button top" end of your battery goes.
I'd love to get a maine ....! Maybe one of these days.
