Florida is too hot for me... now maybe a trip up to Yellowstone National Park (never been before) would work! It's already been in the mid-80's for weeks now here in Texas... I would want to go somewhere where I am not getting the prelude to the 110 it is certainly going to reach all too often this summer. We had no winter this year! *sighs*

I know exactly what you mean. I'm next door in LA. For some reason it never seems as hot on the beach in florida though.

@ jd...it very rarely gets above the 90's here...the humidity
makes it seem hotter but there is usually a breeze...we get the
afternoon showers here all summer too...
the beach gets the sea breezes...you have to be careful in a small
boat..the day can start calm and smooth as glass but when the afternoon
sea breezes kick up it can get choppy as heck..

We had the same problem. No real winter. No snow. We did have about two weeks of cold weather, but thats it. Last month was the hottest on record here. 3 consecutive weeks of 80+ degrees. Then yesterday was awesome. 77 was the high. Now its kinda chilly outside. 52 with a high of 61 last I checked, with a frost warning tonight.
