Aha, that's where the leather holster comes in handy! I won't get scratches and dings, and only half the fingerprints. Plus it's a very nicely made holster!

Victor tries to jump out of the car windows.... have to keep them half way closed.

Simon would jump out of a convertible when it was moving.

I had a bassett hound who jumped out of the car window when I stopped, ran in the video store when someone opened the door, peed on the floor and ran back out (door still being held by "helpful" stranger. I opened the passenger door, she jumped in and I ran around the car, jumped in and drove around the block. Then I laughed for a long time!
