You know why IT likes it though right? IE 8 and IE 9 (especially 9) are the two most secure browsers out there currently. They are the hardest to hijack and/or hack... which is also most likely why google can not do the tilt or the barrel roll with them!

The netadmins prefer it most places I have been... especially in its latest versions... each time you allow someone a different browser now there are new holes you have to protect.
