Melanie (my almost 5 yr old), just came into the living room holding a picture she just drew. She said "Look Daddy! I made you Mommy!!!"
Naturally, I made a big deal of how beautiful it was. But I had to ask about the two lines coming down from her mouth. Her reply came instantly.
"Thats 'cuz she's a vampire!!!!"
I havent stopped laughing yet.

Oh, no. Not the fridge. Fridge pix never stay long enough. THAT one is getting framed WITH the appropriate caption and getting hung on the family picture wall!!!
I gotta get off of here for a few minutes. Kids are having crockpot barbeque chicken. And Mrs E requested some of my super awesome hot wings for dinner when she gets home from work, so I need to prep those while the kids eat.

I have folders for the girls with their artwork, dates and grade if applicable. They just went through them not too long ago and just loved doing it. We had so much fun going through it all.

If we save all of the pictures and artwork, we would have an entire room filled with file cabinets, all full of stuff. Kathryn is an artsy kid. Shes always got some sort of picture, or collage, or something like that in progress.

You have no idea. She didn't appreciate our rolling on the floor laughing either, she wouldn't talk to us for a full week.
