The bottom line is that BT is in the business of making money. They can and will do whatever they deem necessary to crush the competition and take that share of the market place. There used to be many small cigarette makers, they were crushed. BT being involved with e-cigs means that the small players in the industry will be methodically removed.

UGH.... I had not thought that all the way through... and I should have. You are basically saying they will use the WalMart strategy and undercut everyone with economies of scale (and sometimes taking a loss) off of national profits and then have monopolies. Yeah... I should have seen that coming... I agree very bad thing, I was just looking at the short term aspects.

UGH... I do NOT want to do business with people that outsource all of the stuff to China cause it is cheaper and who do not care about quality, customer service, or the communities. The more I think about it the more I agree with you! :(

FV...

On a happier note (I hate to have too much bad news to start the day) I have a question for you regarding the Cool Aid!!!

Is there any chance that the new glass bottles are absorbing some of the liquid? Like 5 or 6 mls of it at a time? ;)

I came home and checked the bottle and it seems suspiciously low...
The wife assures me that she has not been vaping any of it...
She suggested that perhaps it was being absorbed by the glass bottle or evaporating?

We both love the Cool Aid... but there seem to be mysterious leaks or disappearances of the Cool Aid liquid happening for James, Bliss and myself! ;)

I'm not going down without a fight, that's for sure.
Though I am afraid that the handwriting is now on the wall, they have unlimited funds and I have less than the change that Stretchy found in the recliner.

This posse won't go down quietly and that's all I have to say on the matter.

While CAASA is a great organization, I do not agree with everything that they have done.

Good policy and certainly one I will adopt. It just makes sense.

the er along with most areas of hospitals nowadays are horribly understaffed...
and they typically don't use enough RN's so you get less trained nurses....
I hate being a patient..its exhausting having to watch everybody that touches
me...I've kept more than a few from doing stupid things...
no one that I love is left alone for long when they're patients...

I like damp..Not for the dogs. They don't go out as much after it rains. But if it's warm with a little dampness I kinda like it.

Everyone that graduated in our class (total of 69) got VW'Bugs as a grad gift. I got a Corvair.Strangely I was alright with that..

We put VW's in weird places. If you owned a bug you never knew where it was going to be found. They carry quite easily with a football teams help. :D

Woo Hoo for new toys JD! Congrats. Pics are required of course.

You are scarring me.I will do a run on CC juice and Provari's and silver cartos, drip tips,Phiniac's, and a carrying case to go with each acquisition. Just let me know when. I'm braced. I think it could and will happen soon.

I used to think that big tobacco was firmly against e-cigs... but after speaking to multiple people that are a part of CASAA (sp?) I have come to rethink that position. They all told me that if anything big tobacco have actually been allies to them, because they still make money off of providing nicotine extract. In fact, they have a larger profit margin (margin not revenue) off of that than off of their other tobacco products. It is not this story that concerns me, or even the acquisition itself, but how it will be perceived by the anti-smoking crusaders out there!

This is also happening right at the time that the FDA may be about to upset the whole teacart too. :( I am FAR more worried about the FDA than I am about big tobacco. The FDA could bring the whole party to an end.
