Only an hour left... Maybe an hour and a half... I havent decided yet...

My dad's Amazon is awesome. She puts her wings up and says "tickle tickle tickle". You can say "bark like a dog!" And she replies with a wimpy "woof". Then you tell her to bark like a big dog, and she says "WOOF" louder and deeper. Its hilarious. If exotic birds werent so hard to take care of I would get one.

james....Molly isn't hard to care for at all...
I give her Zupreem which is a nutritionally
complete parrot diet....then put seeds, nuts, fruits
or vegies in as I'm preparing my own food.
Vet says she's in perfect health....
she gets some people snacks too...she loves
pizza crusts and popcorn...
I've had her from a baby just weaned from hand fed...
she's 9 now...

A friend of ours has an African Grey. You hear the phone ringing, then our friends voice say "Hello? Just a minute." Then she yells "Randy, phone!" But she's not in the house and the phone never really rang. Gotta love it.

we had a male macaw for awhile but he
was obsessed with me and would squawk
and screech bloody murder if I left his sight....
He was upsetting Molly so we sold him...
he drove me crazy as he always wanted to be
held....he was almost doggy

I also owned a McCaw but it insisted on sleeping under covers with us.. wife alergic so she had to go Bridget was her name and was my coolest bird. She was mostly bald had a plucking issue.

I have a Irish hen now she is same age as me I can't get her to stop yelling.. but she did give birth to my 3 kids so I can't give her away.

Besides, I am feeling a bit better. My eyes are able to focus now. That has got to be the most unusual sensory defect Ive ever had sober...

Be glad you don't have what I've got! It's a leftover from the accident, apparently caused by the sharp impact to the top of my head affecting the teensy bones in my middle ear. Thankfully it's gotten better, it only bothers me now when I lie down. It used to happen every time I turned my head! It's like a delayed reaction, lie down, count to about 3 or 4, head swims for a second or two.

Sallie, I love to paint. If I lived up that way, we could have a painting party

I love to paint too, Chips! And I love to iron! To me both are really calming and zen-like. Of course I don't like all the prep work or cleanup for painting.

I love the bird stories! We inherited a cockatiel from friends that moved, and it was cool! He used to love the Walmart commercial with the whistling, he would get all excited and whistle his little heart out at the TV!

Mornin' SP! Id be happy with a muffin! But I would be ecstatic with a cupcake. I had my last birthday cupcake a week ago. But it was a week old, so it wasnt the best. Not that any of it got wasted though.

I need to make some more cookie dough brownie things. They mustve been so nasty the kids started throwing them away.
