Hopefully the flavorings will be in for Cheesecake today, I'm excited about adding it to the menu.
Boo Hiss to neighbors that show up at your door unannounced before 8am.I had bad dread head.
Literally on the other side of the world! It wont be hard for me to keep track of it. Exactly a 12 hour difference here. So, where ARE you? If you said it before and I missed it, I apologize, but I tend to miss a lot. Just ask Bliss.
Who in the heck drives 25 miles to visit their neighbor that early in the morning?![]()
You know, if I saw this a little bit earlier, it wouldve saved me the trouble of hunting for it on the CC website.Hopefully the flavorings will be in for Cheesecake today, I'm excited about adding it to the menu.![]()
Thats one of many countries on the pacific rim that I would love to visit. My brother's wife is part Malaysian and grew up in Australia. She said if a small miracle ever happened, we need to go to the Siloso Beach Resort on Pulau Sentosa. She said they had a BEAUTIFUL golf course. Its a shame Im terrible at golf! And too broke to get there anyway!haha, i'm from singapore. A tiny country in asia. LOL!
We are not part of china as many people mistaken it.

BWAAAHAHAHAHA!!!! I love when someone shows up at my front door. Cocoa runs to the door barking. That never phases anyone. Shes too cute and poofy. Then Charli tears into the living room, sliding on the wood floors, and jumps at the door. THAT will get most people to step back. I dont think she's 55 pounds yet, but shes close.I guess this guy does. He owes me a screen door. Victor went through it. Again.
The boys and I were just about to go out the door to feed the koi, and someone was standing at the gate. I screamed, Victor went through the screen, Jake barked and the guy screamed. Good morning. We NEVER have surprise company. Somehow I don't think he'll do that again....
Ladies...When you are talking to your significant other about going on a vaction to the beach, and they say "wait until mid July or later", do NOT make reservations for late June just because those were the dates you "had in your head for two days"...
Yeah, just got THAT little tidbit from Mrs E. So instead of listening to me when I said, we have two straight weeks of AllStar practice of almost every day, son's endoscopy, son's allergy scratch test, then the All Star game, then the cooking for the cookout before the cookout, then the cookout itself, still need to squeeze in a post season party. Between the little man's appointments and the All Star game, I have to take three days of PTO in two weeks. And now, unless she can change the reservations, I will have to tak another three days two weeks after that. Its not that the boss man would care, but I cant let my work fall that far behind or I have to put in 50 hour weeks until I get caught up while keeping up with what comes in everyday....
FV, sorry for complaining on your thread, but I had to vent....

You're closer than we are! Its about a 4.5 hour drive for us. I dont mind the trip, or the vacation. But when I say we need to wait until after all this other stuff calms down after June, darn it, I mean it. Not to mention it looks bad on me as an employee to drop two PTO requests in three days for two weeks apart.Ha! Mine just sprung on me that she wants to take a day trip to the beach THIS WEEKEND! The closest decent beach is 3.5 hours away.
I had to step outside. I havent been that mad at her for a long long time. Shes calling the dude back to see if there was anything else open. Its a beach front house that rents for $1300 a week. Split with the inlaws made it about $95 a night. But for reasons that only make sense to her, we are going for 4 days/3 nights. So the dude cut us a deal for $500 flat rate, which breaks down to about $65 a night per family. Pets allowed. You cant find a deal like that anywhere. I dont know how she found it. So I guess its going to be a 7 adult 3 dog road trip to the beach if she can get it rescheduled.Sorry James, can't like that at all.

G'Mornin' Janie.Morning all!
FV - I do not like unexpected visitors either!!! You poor thing, glad your heart is still workingI miss storms and the wonderful smell afterward and the cool down.....now I'm teary eyed!
James, I hope the vacation plans all work out. I hope your sons endoscopy goes well. My son had horrible croup, at 16, he still gets croupy when he gets a cold.
My endo dr. visit went well - thank goodness she was an awesome doc!!!
Wicked. Was. Amazing.
Can't wait to try this cheesecake you've all been talking about.
We are about 1.5 hours from the ocean and we rarely go thereThe ocean was the main draw for me to accept moving to California. I hope we can head down there Memorial Day, dig a pit in the sand, build a fire (it will be cold) and play. Just wish they allowed dogs on the beach.
2 days and I see my first born - I forgot to warn her that the heat index in LA is high, she unfortunately is now burnt to a crisp, she most likely assumed that since the temps are in the 70's that she wouldn't burn. In MN, burning in the 70's is rare!
Hope you all have a terrific day!
