I'm so glad you are finally having great weather! It was nice here yesterday, and I have my fingers crossed for today too. We'll be working around the house and yard today, then I should go to hut 2 and get to work there as well. I don't want too get backed up from the holiday.

Good the posse is FINALY getting back from their fun going ons this weekend.I stayed here it was a hard,lonley, boring job but someone had to do it.

My peeps are loving running around the yard. Though the two buffs just sit on my feet. I can't pick them up, but they like to sit on me. Go figure. The little banty is a roo. And a little pita, thinks he's HUGE. sheesh

Hey guys! Hope everyone has been having an enjoyable weekend! Been a very busy few days on the river with friends and family for us. Cooking out today with Thomas's family.

I also want to say Thank You to all who have sacrificed for me and mine to be able to enjoy this beautiful weekend and every other day as well. I am also grateful that I am blessed enough to spend this day with my wonderful husband.

I saw that photo and just had to share it. Not to be a downer, but I always think how I could be spending my Memorial Days in a completely different frame of mind.It really is a reminder for what I have to be grateful for.

Good Memorial Day afternoon everyone. Im doing everything I can to relax and do nothing today to recover from working 46 hours at my job, plus 15 hours Saturday, plus another 15 hours yesterday. Im tired. My feet are still throbbing. And my ears are still ringing. But I love every minute of it. Besides, what race fan wouldnt want to get paid to watch the race and the 200,000 plus drunk people that are at a race track! The people watching is as much, if not more, fun than watching the race!

Oh, and Kathryn has another softball practice today. Im trying to convince my wife to go out to eat tonight. Ive had nothing but sandwiches to eat for the last two days. Im ready for real food!!!

On a side note, I met almost a dozen vapers this weekend. Most had either Blu or some other pen style and were in awe at an e-cig that didnt look like an analog. I wouldnt let anyone taste mine though. The thought of a toothless drunk guy slobbering all over my DTs didnt sit well with me!!!

Happy Memorial Day posse!!! Just hanging out relaxing! I'm out of analogs and wondering if I should go buy some.

Happy to have my daughter here! Went to a bbq last night, great food & met some new California people. Today - no clue what we are going to do except grill steaks tonight. DD is still sleeping. My son went and bought a dozen Krispy Cream donuts (yuck), but he and hubby are on a happy sugar high!

Snowed up in Tahoe, so we are not going up the mountain today. Maybe hiking around the American River - or just hanging out by the pool!
