Working, vaping, working. Wife has been out of town since Wednesday. I've had nothing to eat but frozen pizzas and have yet to leave the house. This could end badly.

Mrs E took Charli to the vet this morning. $45 for a face groom. Then shes going to be put under and get fixed. Poor baby is going to be miserable for a few days.

Its going to keep me chained to the house over a gorgeous weekend when the highs are going to be in the low 80's and a low humidity.

Im hoping that I can support a coworker tomorrow. He's Rock Hill, SC's hotdog eating champion for 6 years running. Tomorrow, he's headed into Charlotte for the national qualifier. If he eats at least 20 dogs and wins, he will get an all expenses paid trip to Coney Island to compete in the Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest there on July 4th.

If nothing else, its going to give me time to work on the boat a little bit. Im hoping I can get at least some of the electrical wired out and get some lights and switches working.

Oh, and before I left work yesterday, I went back to the generator. I plucked up two sections of the vines, one with roots, one without, and three of the most matured pieces of fruit on it. I planted the vine sections and one of the fruit, and dropped the other two fruits at the tree line. With any luck, the vines will take root and start choking out the poison ivy and brambles that grow in the back part of our yard. And with more luck, next year the seeds in the fruit will take root and start choking out more of the stuff I dont want back there.

finish the finish work on the bathroom (finally) I need to put up the trim and towel bars.

clean out the woodshed so we can turn it into a chicken coop. Repair the floor.

kill the woodchucks that collapsed the floor of said woodshed so they can't do it again.

bonfire and s-mores.

I'll be really glad to have the bathroom finally finished. So it's ok to like that.

The woodshed project will be fun once the floor is done. It's been a dark, scary, shed filled with critters for as long as we have owned this house. I'll be glad to have it clean and bright finally. And the peeps will appreciate having their own place. Plus they won't be pooping all over my yard/deck/steps anymore. blech.
