Just wrapped up a Daddy/Daughter Night with Kat. It was long over due. Now I have a dog with a lamp shade (e-collar) on her head doing her best to go to sleep in my lap, making me type one handed.
And when I got done cooking dinner, I went to cover the grill and slid my foot across the deck and wound up with a two inch splinter in my big toe. When I pulled it out, it broke. With both ends under skin. Yay.

Im glad you werent here to catch me! Its the feet that get elevated! And no, no fainting. Just copious amounts of drool/slobber.

Good evening.... Muah, ha, ha, ha... *cough* *clears throat* Hey, everybody! Hope you are well! So glad it's Friday. Can't wait to be done with work at 7am. Going to go to Ambien land when i get off for the night, then band practice Sat afternoon. Then beers with former co-workers! Possibly will stop by the tattoo shop to hang out with some friends there too. I'm thinking i need to order some more House. I think i've only had the bottle that came in the sampler pack from my first order. Is that weird? I blame it on Twisted.

I gave up on sleep and decided to try to bend my ankle in a direction it wasnt meant to go so I could dig that dang splinter out. I dont think Ive ever had one go that deep before. And naturally, it had broken into about four separate pieces. Combined length was just under a quarter inch. But at least its out.
I took Charli's lamp shade off so she could eat and get some water. As soon as I took it off the first thing she did was fall asleep. Now I have to get it back on her. I had to empty all of the blankets out of her kennel. She cant fit in it with that thing on. She looks so darned pitiful with it on.
Im off to bed. Hope everyone has a good night!!!
