Janie,
A friend of mine quit smoking 11 years ago. I asked him how long it took him to stop craving. He said "When it happens, I'll let you know".
my story is similar to Allazar's. I got down to my last two analogs, the ones I use to start my mornings, fairly quickly. Took me months to get rid of the last two.
Dont be hard on yourself. Keep trying!

I had to go complete cold turkey switch to vaping. I loved smoking. I was a smoker, plain and simple. If I had kept smoking a few a day I would have just kept smoking. It was rough for a few days but I made it.

We've all been through it. To be honest, it took me 6 months to completely quit smoking gradually lowering the number of cigarettes I had each day each week. I cut it down to 5 or 6 pretty fast, but I had to work to get below 3. I have not had an analog in ovewr 6 months, and I still at times crave one. I definitely recommend that you use 24mg. for now when trying to quit. In fact, I still use 24mg even now, although it is almost to the point I might be able to use 18mg if I wanted to have more cravings. The 18 is not quite high enough for me even now...6 months later!

If you were smoking for a long time, I think the 24mg will help you much more than the lower nic levels. Also, remember... if occasionally you have 1 or 2 cigarettes more than you intended in a day then that is not a failure, you just need to make steady progress to get to the point that does not happen, and then wean yourself off. Cold turkey did not work for me... even with vaping.

For the longest time, I've been happy with just my ONE Provari...the mod bug never caught me like it has some -er- other people around here lol. I sold all the other stuff I had. But every now and again, I think it would be nice to have a spare...

I kept trying to sell some of my ProVaris, I thought three would be a nice number. Have two going at one time, and a backup if one of them went down for any reason. Every time I sold one, something would happen (in the classies normally) and I ended up with a new one. I finally gave up selling them, at this point I'm up one from where I started before I tried selling them off.

Well, I ordered 3 bottles of 24, 2 in the kind I like and one CDM, so I can mix down.

Thanks everyone....I may be a b*tch for the next few days...I'll try to stay away if I am :)

I wonder how long I'll have to seep them???

CDM requires no steeping. What else did you get?

My husband was like you JD. He'd still be smoking if he let himself have a pack in the house, and it would probably be the same now. He doesn't even crave cigarettes now, as far as I know, but if he bought a pack of cigarettes today, he'd probably be a smoker again tomorrow.

Having them wasn't a problem. I carried a full pack in my truck for 3 months until I gave it away at a party. But I couldn't do one or two or a few a day. Its all or nothing. When I had tried to quit with the patch and failed, I didn't go buy a pack, I bought a carton!

I tried Wellbutrin, it sucked! First, it removed ALL taste from smoking. And it felt like it was blocking the nicotine from getting through. So I ended up with immediate withdrawal symptoms, and not a danged thing I could do about it! :grr:

Before that I went through a "course" that the Navy had to get you on the patch. They covered all kinds of things to distract you, carrying a little baggie with candy and gum, snapping a rubber band on your wrist, etc. The last thing the guy told us at the end was how to cheat. If you really wanted a smoke, don't wear the patch overnight and you could have a smoke with your coffee in the morning. I just kept taking longer and longer to put the first patch on.

I know what I'm missing....the head rush. I'm not getting it with the PV.
The high nic will give you a head rush, but it wont be the same one that you get from a cigarette. Part of the head rush from smoking is the carbon monoxide replaceing the oxygen in your bloodstream. It may not be the same, but it isnt as harmful (my non-medical-or-even-professional opinion).

Okay, I'll vape like crazy. I was down to 6 -8 analogs a day! I only have a small amount of House because its not my fav!

Dont worry about having to stay away. We can roll with the punches. :D

Would it make you feel better if I told you that they still hold the same useless classes?

Ok ??? of the night do any of you have a Darwin? What do you like dis like about it.Still need to know the size of the o rings for the trippy tips.

No Darwin here but I have a Kicked device and am getting the Darwin experience... I love being able to throw any carto or clearomizer on my device and get the same quality vape each time with no adjusting...

TY was wondering about the kick also.I made a trade so I should have a Darwin and a kick by Saturday. So hoping their in good shape. We all know my luck with the classies.

I love the kick... I just might get a different mod to throw it in... I like the cube, but its damn heavy, and huge. I'm thinking something like a silver bullet with two extenders so I can use the kick and an 18650
