Morning bliss. Vacuumed the office and the family room. Blew a fuse, forgot I can't run the vacuum and the air conditioner in the family room at the same time. Back in business now, but I'm cooling off after my 20 minutes of vacuuming with no air conditioner. again. I am so pathetic. I am in desperate need of a maid. A free one.

Hi everyone!
Back from the PO. One did not survive the trip, and one can't figure out how to drink. I've been doing my best to teach it. It's just not getting it. So I think when I get home today I will have 3. Pics this evening, when I know what we have left. Though the first one to drink, the first one to eat, with the wildest hairdo is now Stretchy. She's lovely.

Since Mr V has officially declared war on the raccoons, tell him to throw some marshmallows in the yard. The coons like them and they are easy to see in low light.

Im one of those people that understnad how life short is. Thats actually one reason I had to stop talking to him. Melanie and CJ are 5 and (almost) 4, respectively. Neither one of them has yet to spend an afternoon with the Grammy and Granddady without me or Mrs E around. They dont know anything about their own grandkids, but would go out of their way to spoil Kat. It was breaking their hearts, and therefore mine, which made got me pretty fired up. Without going into details, lets just say we had a polite conversation, but he wouldnt be seeing any grandkid again until they started treating them all fairly. Tomorrow will be a first for them and I am REALLY hoping it goes well. I dont want my kids growing up thinking that their grandparents didnt want to be with them.

And my stepmom is a Witch. Replace the "W". Everytime she talks I want to punch her.

They were so blatant I had to call them on it.

she's probably close to it now. I haven't seen her since my grandfather died several years ago. She's in a nursing home now. I doubt anyone goes to see her.

On the flip side. My step dad treats my daughter just like his own grandkids. In fact, they are closer because all of his live out of state. We're lucky to have him.

And thats the kind of crap I got sick of seeing. Unfortunately, I had to make the tough choice of living with one heart broken kid or two. With Dad and I not talking, its been really hard on Kathryn. But I think it was the right choice. Especially if tomorrow lends itself to the first step in my dad and stepmom getting to know the rest of my family.

Totally understand! My in-laws treat the grandboys like they are gifts from God and the girls are just girls. But that is how they treat their kids too. When my SIL got her Masters they didn't understand why she needed one when she had a husband and two kids to take care of.
