I agree with both of you, but I think it's a tough balance in the beginning. Until you know if you'll be successful or not, you probably don't want to make that many up front. Once you realize how popular you wares are, then yeah, you should probably look to find a better method of getting them out to the public.

It looks like JonBoy might be taking your advice with the lava tanks stretchy. Have you been talking to him? Word is that they are working towards a better method to buy them with more tanks available at each sale. I'm not a huge fan of the frenzy, in fact I hate it, but I have a feeling the frenzy wouldn't be as intense if you knew you had 200 or more to pick from, rather than 50. We'll see, sounds like that's where they're headed at least. It certainly worked with the stainless lavas, but I wonder if it will be the same for the next sale with the acrylics even if there are the same number available...

I wish others would do the same thing.

Then again, I might find myself buying even more stuff that I really don't need (and therefore stretchy would be buying more stuff that SHE really doesn't need ) if it were all easy to get.

I'm bored too...waiting for son to get home is a long wait! Doing laundry. I need a life.

I agree with Stretchy. When I first looked at JonBoy, my first thought was, why would I stay up that late to order something? Put it up for sale in the morning!

I'm done buying stuff now. One Riva and one ProVari is good enough. I have university tuition, sorority dues, daughter's rent and Denmark to pay for! That is just one child. Yes, she is working her ... off this summer at a job she hates, but it pays good money! She is also applying (this is so gross) to work at the City of Mpls. morgue - going on sites to take pictures, etc....she said sort of like a real CSI  If she gets the job, I'm sure it will stand out on her med school apps!

Another thing. Just hit the sample of cheese cake. Great googly moogly, that is some seriously tasty stuff! I can see right now I'm in trouble with this vaping thing. I sat over at the flea market and chatted with the vendor guy for about 2 hours like we were old buddies and extolling the virtues of vaping with anybody dumb enough to stop and talk. Bahaha.

O.K. well that kinda makes me feel better and sorry for you.
I'm not having fun today. I'm doing laundry, a little bit of work work, and I need to get busy clearing out the mud room so we can start paining it. Blech. Talk about no life... :(

Does everyone love her?? Carry on...
I agree with you 100%. Maybe Mr. V should make a pretty tank. Or 150. I HATE waiting lists and frenzies. When I want to buy something I just want to buy it.

I have no life either. I was outside cleaning up chicken poop, visiting with one of Russ's buddies and showing off Little Stretchy.

Lil Stretchy is a Golden Polish Hen. And the prettiest one on the planet of course.

And Hooray, he likes it!!!!

Hope the flea market was fun. I didn't get to go today. We are grouting the infamous shower today. of course we ran out of grout with about 3 square feet left. Off to the HI store again. *sigh*

Two things:

What kind of yardbird is lil stretchy?

Finally got to vape the newly arrived apple cider. Tasty, very tasty indeed.

Awwww no. I didn't know that. If I were Jon. Honestly I would have 200 available. He's well established and people like them. I really do.If he didn't sell all 200 the first night. They would be gone the next day. He knows how many messages he gets and could add 30 onto the number and probably be very happy with the results. He could offer them every 2 months instead of every month. There are so many ways to do that. It would benefit the seller and the buyer.
I don't think it helps to make them scarce.Somebody is sure to come along and copy it and you would lose those sales to them. It's self defeating for the seller. You can gauge your customer base better as well.
Anyway when's the next Frenzy for the Lava's?:lol::lol:

LOL, word is it will probably be soon. It's taken him some time to build up enough tanks to where he hopes he'll be able to meet demand. I haven't heard how many will be available, but I have heard it will be a BIG number. Fingers crossed. :)
