Good news of the day, I contacted our realtor back in MN to find out how the market is there. Looks like we are good to go on putting the house back on the market!!!! Just need to figure out how to get new carpet put in without being there...hmmm. As much as I want to move back to the house I love, its not fair to my son - I can't pull him out of school or move him away from friends that he has become close with. I moved twice in HS and won't do it to him.

I feel you on the moving part. My parents used to move every two years. Literally. As soon as you met a group of friends and really started to know them, it was time to move again. Thankfully, it stopped when I got to Jr High.

I have two children and have been married for 17 years to my high school sweetheart. I have two dogs, a St. Bernard and a Toy Poodle. The poodle rules the roost. I work part time as a dog groomer and special education advocate and am a full time mom. My husband is ex-military and works as a federal firefighter at a local air reserve base. Do you know there are meds that help pets thru fireworks and thunder? Also there is a coat that you can buy. We have one for our Border Collie and when we had my son's shepherd we gave her meds on July 4th and when a thunder storm rolled thru.They both work.
Mornin' guys and gals. I do NOT feel like being awake, much less at work right now. Why do jerks in the neighborhood feel that just because its July 4th, that makes it ok to shoot fireworks until ONE AM!?!?!?!? We may not be within town limits, but we still have a noise ordinance that goes into effect at 11pm. When 12am rolled around, and they were still shooting them off, I got sick of it and called the sheriff's dept. "We're sorry sir, but we will not be able to get a unit to your area until after 1 o clock." Thanks for the help guys....
Now, I want y'all to understand, that having fireworks going all throughout the night doesnt affect me directly. I can sleep through just about anything. Where I have a problem with it, is that all the noise scares my dog. And she's so old, it doesnt take too much to get her so stressed, she has a seizure. Add that on to the fact it kept waking my kids up, and you have one P.O.'d fat guy on your hands. But thanks to our wonderful men and women in brown and green, there wasnt anything that could be done about it.
Im seriously dragging my .... today... Maybe I'll get lucky and will get to go home soon.

There is something called Rescue Remedy that you can try for your dog when he gets stressed. I've used it on my dog and it seemed to help. I groom dogs and have had clients that use it too. You can usually buy it an herb store or order it online. Rescue Remedy

Drott works at the dmv loves her Rotty's and consistenly buys broken things in the classies.
VV is missing in action.We hope she comes back soon.

The men of the posse are all good looking and interesting. We have one that forgets his teeth and wears .... flap jammies, one that is a musician, one that lives in a crate, a bounty hunter, a trucker, a teacher.... who did I forget? It's a madhut here today. You'll meet them all.

Glad you found us over here! Our master of intructions is Bliss. But she just opened her own nail shop, so she isnt around as much. I think you'll like it here!
Weve looked into different meds and stuff, but because of her seizures, we dont actually give her anything. The vet has not been able to determine what causes them, so we steer clear of just about anything that would probably help her for fear of causing more problems that what the meds would solve.
I heard from VV, she's alive. Just really sick. I'll be talking to her later today, and will update. Let's all say a prayer for our friend please.
