Whatever their reasons are, its crap. They should be doing everything they can to support them in the sport they enrolled them in, and in life in general. Thats why I volunteered to be a coach. I couldnt stand the thought of my daughter not getting to play because no one stepped up to do it, knowing that I could have. It just sucks for the kids. And obviously, it gets me slightly worked up when I get no parental support.

just got back from my grandmas house...she made homemade mac and cheese, fried cabbage, and homemade cornbread. But of course it was all fat and calorie free ;-)

See, I may get the occasional ECF break, but I have to stay late most of the time. It was 5:30 here when I left. It shouldve been 6, but the central warehouse's network took a dump and I couldnt do any more work.

maybe he's growing up. my saint bernard chewed a large hole in the side of my couch when he was a puppy (big enough for my poodle to crawl in) & ate underwear (literally ate them). Now he's so mellow and calm.

Yep, ate the side of my couch right off. Luckily, it was an old couch and we were planning to get another one soon. We waited to get a new one until he outgrew his chewing phase. He hasn't ate any clothing or chewed holes in anything in a few years now. He did accidentally crack one of my cabinet doors in the kitchen. He was running and playing and slammed into the door. 160 pounds of st. bernard against a cheap wooden cabinet door...dog won.

I only liked that because I feel the pain. We had Mastiffs. Angel killed off a gorilla tough crate in one afternoon, then ate the back door so she go out. I had the nerve to leave her behind while I went to the dentist. Angel. Boy, did I name that one wrong....

We are home. Surgery went longer than expected and recovery took a long time. He is doing well & is not in any pain as of now.

She looked like an Angel when we got her. She was so awful even the boarding kennel refused her. If she couldn't see me, she was impossible. Our male weighed in at over 250#, walked nice without a leash and in general behaved like a true gentleman. All the trouble was caused by Angel. And every day with her was a new adventure. She made Victor look good.
