Okay, I gotta try the pie with my next order.

For some reason, no one is speaking up to defend your statements. :?: But, I don't have any reason to doubt you. :hubba:

she is most certainly the prettiest! And pie is amazing! I really enjoy it with a cup of coffee. It's been replaced by cheesecake in my rotation lately but I'll definitely go back to it at some point.

On a serious note. The PIE is the best CC juice. It is Pumpkin Pie.
O.K. back off everybody it is. You ALL know it is...
My favorites
1.PIE
2.Chocolate Chip Cookie
3 Pina Colada.
I think the posse has tried them all and they are all really delicious.

hmmmmm are you sure you do not want to reorder that list after trying the Buttered Rum SP?

Happy Friday the 13th!!!

Every Friday the 13th reminds me of October, Friday 13, 2000. Floating through the Bermuda Triangle at midnight under a full moon on Friday the 13th of the new millinium. And it was some of the smoothest seas I had ever seen. It literally looked like glass. No swells, no ripples, no visible currents, just... nothing. It was cool and eerie at the same time.

WHEW what a morning. My alarm clock app actually worked this morning! Still a few minutes late to work though. Unfortunately, the snooze button worked this morning too.

Been really busy this morning, and it shows. The warehouse floor is finally as empty as it can get. Im caught up on all of the receiving, all of the shipping, and I still managed to get to the field to help with two installs this week.

I also got Mrs E convinced to go to the boating store and get something called "muffs". She asked what they were and what they were for, and I said all she had to do was walk in the door and yell "I NEED A PAIR OF MUFFS!!!" and they would understand. I dont think she believed me though. :D But its one more thing I needed. Now I can think about starting the motor in the driveway. Tomorrow will be more stuff to get put on. Now that I think I have almost everything I need, I may actually be able to get all of the cleats, hinges, and wood trim on. Then reattach the gas filler tube and start working on the electrical. After that, I can finish the upholstery, then its on to the motor!

Tonight is out team's post season party. Still two parents I havent heard back from. The same two that I havent gotten a single email reply from all season. I finally gave up on trying to get a head count. I finally said screw it. Now, we will play our family game, then go to the pizza parlor and let everyone buy their own pizza. That way we wont end up with too much or too little, and a family of 3 wont have to pay as much as a family of 6. And they have beer there. And pool tables. And video games. I just wish I had thought about it three weeks ago instead of last night. It wouldve saved me a LOT of brain aches.

I get a name change now too? Sweeeeeeet. ;)

OMG that sounds so good. Then again, of course it does. It has bacon.

That reminds me. Mrs E has finally NOT killed a tomato plant. For the last ten years, shes tried one tomato plant every season. And for ten years, shes killed each of them. So this year, I bought a shepards hook and took a 5 gal bucket, and made my own "Topsy Turvy" tomato plant hanger. Put a hole in the bottom, ran the plant through it upside down, and filled it with potting soil. We pulled our first tomatos off of it a few days ago. I wish we had more, but Im very happy that this one is at least yeilding fruit. Fresh 'maters are so much better than store bought.

I was in bed!

Swing by Clover, SC. I'll give you some. Seriously.

I would say try to find one of the GA Posse folks, but its not my place.

HOUSE!!! YOU NEED HOUSE!!!!

Yes. Yes she is. (referring to the pie.)

Im not gonna like that. Thats beyond not cool.

*Turns and looks at SP* You can let go of my arm now! ;)

...and while I would not put the pie at the top of my list it is an amazing recreation of pumpkin pie and one of my wife's favorites. :D

If you have not had it yet though... you really need to try FV's Buttered Rum!

Busy today!

AJ's appt. went well. All the big bandages are off and just the tiny ones over the stitches are still on. Can't get it wet until next Tuesday (figuring out how to wash his hair :lol). He has dosed way back on pain meds and doc told him he can switch over to Advil as soon as he wants. He can run again next Friday - on the track only, no terrain for another 6 weeks.

For two years I've debated on opening a Etsy store. I have one set up for hubby's vases, but they are too expensive to sell on that site, so I don't even try any longer. I was going to open a store with the hats I crochet and cards that I make with photos that I take!

That's what's in mine, crochet & jewelry. I just looked & right now nothing is in there as my listings must have run out. Fix it later, probably closer to fall when hats & scarves are more in season.

Glad your sons appt when good!

Uh oh. I keep forgetting to get some vodka to make James' version of slushies. I suddenly remembered I have a bottle of peach schnapps in the freezer, and mixed it with some Sunny D that nobody wants to drink. So now I have some Fuzzy Sunny Navels freezing for later! :):):)

Good afternoon Creekers! More like creaker in my case. Like the procrastinating dummy I am, I waited until Friday to go to the grocery. Luckily I made it in and out before the Friday rush, so it wasn't too bad. I hate shopping (typical male there I reckon). Online shopping has been a Godsend for people like me. I sit here, buy it, somebody brings it to me. A fat, lazy man's dream!

Enjoying that cherry sampler right now. It's pretty darn good too. I haven't tried my Rixmix of the cherry and cheesecake yet, I need to kill the clearo of regular cheesecake first. I'm hoping for tasty good things when I do.

Almost 4:00! That means its time to pack up and head home. Of course, I get to leave as soon as I walk in the door and change clothes... Gotta go to the repair shop that has our lawn mower. We heard back from them today. His exact words cant be posted here, but he said "Youre screwed." It has absolutely no compression in the combustion chamber. That means valve, valve seal, cracked head, or hole in the piston. All would cost as much, or more, to fix as it would to get a new lawn mower. So, I get to go pay the cost of them just figuring out what was wrong, then an extra $10 to scrap it. At least I get to go mower shopping now! Hydrostatic automatic transmission with a mow in reverse function, here I come!!!

Then its off to the post season party/family softball game/pizza/trophy "ceremony". Time to throw the diet out the window for my one day this week. Then its home, shower, then beer and mancave.

I'll try to check in if I can, but dont wait up for me! Hope everyone enjoys the rest of their Friday 13th!!!

Fuzzy Sunny Navel sounds rather good. I haven't had a Fuzzy Navel since, umm, well, at least a decade

I'm glad both V & James are done with work! Let the weekend begin!!!

Pleasant day here today....only 90 - it actually feels good! Although we don't generally reach our high until around 4 p.m. It saves a lot on the AC!!!

AJ is out and about with a friend getting a shake. Hasn't had any pain meds since 8 a.m. I'm so glad he went to his friends (across the street) for the afternoon & now out for a shake. He needed to get up and start moving around a bit.

Me...I've been icing my knee most of the day. I can barely go up & down the stairs. Sigh....stupid meniscus!

I need to get out my yarn and hook & start crocheting again. The last two years I crocheted a lot over the summer and then I give the hats to the homeless here in town. I need to make more men's hats this year. I was really stuck on baby hats for awhile - there are so cute and you can dress them up with pretty flowers and ribbons :)
