Morning Posse! Still need more coffee.

Today is going to be grand! The heat wave broke and the temps will be in the low 80's for the next 3 days! All the locals will dig out their sweatshirts and jeans, I will recline in the sun :)

Off to start laundry and hope that my knee holds up while I do the stairs. I only have three loads, Mr. Hubby took care of two over the weekend.

fiberglass work is messy and a pita but not difficult. Think adult paper mache.

Believe it or not, Im not really worried about messing up any fiberglass. My biggest concern is getting the right wood and getting it waterproofed right. Its confusing trying to figure out which epoxy to use, how to use it, then which resin/hardener for the glass, then do I need glass mats or something else...? I really want to do it right once, instead of wrong over and over. Especially when marine grade ply wood is anywhere from $80-200 a sheet, and epoxy can be upwards of $100 a gallon.... If I do this, it REALLY needs to be done right.

Talk with some boat builders see if they can will stear you in the right direction.Hopefully you'll find one friendly enough to do that.See if you can find a forun on boat building and or repair. The world wide web could be your friend.
Ive been all over a forum for nearly two days now. Its the main reason Im getting confused. There are more acronyms for boats restoration than the military has. Most of it is just in different epoxies.
