Just finished making two gooey butter cakes. Yes, two. One for the reunion and one for here :D . I used the Paula Deen recipe so we all know it will really healthy! Waiting on the pizza to come out of the oven so I can put them in. I didn't realize that I was out of vanilla extract until I got to that point in the recipe. I briefly debated using vanilla ejuice, but thought it might not be such a good idea (just kidding). Since there is half a pound of butter and 16 oz of powdered sugar in each cake I doubt the vanilla will be missed. Can't wait to taste it!

Hi Drott! We missed you!
GREEN is never the wrong answer.
I was watching weather, batten down the hatches!!!
Ewww. It just got really dark and really windy here.
Thanks, LOL!
Fixed..........................
You're welcome, and thank you! Hope you love it all.
FlyingV just got my mega box delivered, thanks for the SUPER fast delivery/processing, and the surprise. :vapor:
We had to get special pallets built for some people....
Was it delivered on a pallet? I think they had to have a special truck made when Stretchy got that water tower full of Pie delivered!:lol::lol:

I'm just glad I got Mr. V's birthday gift out of the box before it attacked Victor.

Internet was just down for 15 minutes, almost had to switch to the phone. NOT a good night on the upper east coast. Rushing to charge up my batteries, hehe.

I didn't need a skid, but I will say I didn't know USPS had boxes this big, bordering on NOT fitting in the mailbox. Got a load of cartos so that was a lot of it. FlyingV does a hell of a job on packaging, I think we should send her to Amazon so she can SHOW them how to package liquids !!!!!!!

I got plenty of House to replenish, but also added in quite a few fruits, multiple danishes, and some samplers of cheesecake and CCCC.

I know you guys are more versed in most of her juices than I, but I smelled every single one before being torn away by my fiancee (shopping before storm is ALWAYS fun), and every single one was out of this world. As many of you have stated, I am very fearful of the Danish, Cheesecake, and CCCC as I had an immediate reaction to each, and it was STRONG.

    :O

Let's hope I can use my blinking Provari to guide me about the darkened house hunting for more juice, and a fresh battery if we loose power again.

Outstanding juices, shipping, delivery, AND recommendations by you guys. Just wish I had 10 tanks to try them all at once, well, kinda at once.

No telly here I have dish network.Storms = no telly that sucks.

Typically we don't get TOO hammered here, but I always know it's time to check the generator for gas, when they start beeping alerts on the TV, and you check the weather channel, and there are 4 alerts, hehe. Gas -- check, LOADS of juice -- check, check, freshly charged batteries..................

    The chicks are adorable!!!

Sorry about your day Tiff. The cake sounds delish though - I haven't had cake in forever, I'd end up eating it all. The boys would each have one piece. I do have a butter cake that is for 8 x 8 pan....hmmmm......I may have to make a cake.

Acupuncture, no. I have had it in the past and it didn't do a thing for me. Went to a real acupuncturist and all :) It was at a Chinese teaching school in MN and my friend went to school there & did my acupuncture. Said it would cure my anxiety and make me quit smoking - ha! The good news on the chiro is that my hip is back in place - and that is why I go!!

I made a doc. appt. I'm sure they'll tell me its the meniscus tear and I'll have to have another MRI and go to the dumb orthopedic surgeon again and he'll once again suggest surgery - which I won't have, unless he gives me a better than 50/50 chance this time. Last time it healed with chiro care only. This time she isn't so sure :(

All in all been a great day. AJ & his friend took the dog to the lake where she swam for over 2 hours and will most likely sleep for the next two days. She had fun, she loves the lake and its much easier on her paws than jumping in and out of the pool onto the hot concrete.

Please do not take this the wrong way because they have negative connotations... but steroids (particularly a shot to the area) can often work wonders with joints and swelling... did the doctors not try that? Or is it the wrong type of issue?

I think it's actually Mr. FV (I still call him Peggy ) that is in charge of the packaging. He does do an amazing job!

To make it a little easier deciding what to attack first, the fruits and coffee are all good right from the mailbox. So is House, but the flavor changes as it ages, so it's up to you to decide where you like it best. The rest (danishes, cheesecake, and I think the CCCCC) could use some time to steep. If you're patient. :) There are no set rules!

I wasnt going to get on the computer tonight, but I realized that I needed a refill of House. So I figured I would check in as I checked out.

What kind of work do you do? Go to bed early and get some rest. Only one more day left in the week :D

Thank you everyone for the support! It is appreciated!!!!!
Im a telecommunications specialist/technician turned warehouse guy.

Yes ma'am! Off to bed I go!!!

craptastic. The word of the day.

Tenders=toddlers. Thank you James. The stretchy peeps as a group (all 3) are the nuggets. The big gals are dinner, soup or eggers depending on if one bit me or not.

Lil Stretchy had a wonderful day and came running over to the fence to greet me when I got home. As I walked along it she ran with me. Her hairdo flops as she runs. Everyone is getting along well. I played chicken cop for awhile to make sure, I walk carefully and carry a koi net.

Victor was attacked by a box again today. New score: Victor 3, Boxes 0
    Youre welcome!

Mrs E still thinks is mean to have "pets" that you intend to eat. Its a losing battle to argue with her.

You need to protect Victor from those evil boxes....

Picking up a million little cardboard pieces counts as my exercise for the day, right?
    Why yes. Yes it does!

Ewww. It just got really dark and really windy here.
I love that little bit of time when the temps drop and winds kick up, right before a storm hits.

No telly here I have dish network.Storms = no telly that sucks.
And THAT is exactly why I dont do sat. dishes. Everyone I know that has them says "rain doesnt really affect it". BS. I worked as a satellite comms tech for too long to believe that crap.

Sounds like you have the basics prioritized pretty well!

And NOW Im off to bed. Goodnight everyone!!!
