OK, I'm seldom EVER off (economy) so when I'm actually OFF, it's mostly about doing NOTHING. I THOUGHT I had a "honey do" list today, and it turns out, we did something QUITE unexpected after being engaged for years and years.....
Surely this must seem somewhat ODD, hehe, but we've been engaged forever, and kept putting it off, never much into all the big toodoo over things, so kept it simple, and about us. I'm sure at some point we'll throw a big shindig with all the associated friends, family, and fistfights. 
Sadly despite my best efforts I was not allowed to bring the Provari in the chapel, BUT, all is well now. Shacked up, and addicted to CC.

Fyi - the last single guy on this thread that got married was never seen from again.
My wife and I got married at the JP on Dec 31st 2009 with only my parents and her 2 children there so I know exactly what you mean... but I DID tell her first! It would have been incredibly embarrassing if we had gone down there and then she had said no!
