It's time for Victor's ice cube, he's standing at the fridge again. See everyone later, have a great night!

Oh, for sessions:
This is Victor, he must have an ice cube before he can go to bed. What Victor wants, Victor gets. Ask Drott, he's innocent...

Let the fun begin. Once everyone gets in this morning, we all (two mangers included) get to have a powwow about this part missing from my spares inventory. This ought to be interesting, and something Im not looking forward to. Im just hoping that it can be fixed before my official inventory is due.

James without his teeth and an angry bliss...this ain't pretty
Bah. I dont need my teeth. And Bliss wont be mad. She's cool like that.

What are you guys using to punch your cartos ?? How long does it stay sharp ?? How many holes do you use ??
I dont use tanks very often. But a lot of the people around here use FV's carto punch. Cheap, effective, and Im betting FV has punched, literally, thousands of holes.

The number of holes will be dependant on what ratio your juice is mixed at. FV's standard ratio of 40/60 pg/vg should only need one hole. Once you start getting into higher ratios of vg, you may need a second.

Good Morning Posse! It's a new month JD, here is post 1 of 2

And...BFB has been jonesing for you.Why he just said that a couple of days ago. I think it was Saturday afternoon around 1...
WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?
working and playing stretchy!! Oh, and I bought a new car Monday :D

Sallie, we could start our own painting business. The downside would be that we would never decide on what color we were painting. Regardless of what the customer wanted.
I know a girl who could use extra painters and she is painting some stuff red too...

she has already checked in twice this week. You're safe for a month or so
*hmmph* You never know when I am lurking....

I can't like either of those posts for fear you are wrong and she stops in again tomorrow. My face can't afford to get any prettier.
smart, smart woman.

Whew......
Session, I think the tag you made James is beautiful (it needs his teeth though,he talks funny without them lol). No worries whatsoever about stepping on my toes. As a matter of fact I nominate you to permanently make sig boxes.

Hehe thanks for cutting me some slack on the teeth thing. I sure "she" comes back and doesn't get me. :)

As far as the cartos, now that I'm past the n00b mistake phase, I'm onto OTHER thoughts/concerns/issues.
I have a similar punch tool from Phiniac. Looks the same, but can't say for sure as I've not bought one from FV yet. I typically hover around 50/50 or 60/40 PG/VG and have found that I prefer 2 holes. Never had this flood anything. BUT, I'm noticing a few things.

I'm starting to wonder if my tool is already loosing it's sharpness. For those to are or have used this tool, you get it set so there is tension on the carto without actually starting to pierce it, and you turn your SET amount of turns, which I've found to be close to 4 turns. Now the first 10 that I punched, I never thought twice, and everything worked great. The last few I did, it seemed something had changed. Turned it 4 turns, backed it out, and it seemed it made a very small hole, figured I didn't turn it enough, put it back in, and turned a few extra, hole came out looking good. Flipped around, did another hole on other side, and when putting in the tank, was drawing VERY heavy/hard. Hmmmmm. Now I started to CHECK the air passage after punching, and on more than one, I could no longer see light through the carto. Hmmmm, sounds like I went too far I guess. I only went as far as I needed to get a medium sized hole, so I wonder if I've dulled mine (think it's SS, not tungsten or hardened as far as I can tell), where it's possibly deforming the carto more and punching less, REQUIRING me to punch it more to GET the hole ??

Not sure, totally possible this is back into n00b mistake territory, but am asking, so as to avoid any carto wasting mistakes. I have seen a $40.00 punch which is very nice, but expensive, and it has a tungsten carbide screw, which would surely last forever. Not sure yet.
