There was an update the other day:

8/1/2012: ASH UPDATE

All the parts are in EXCEPT for the engraving... the engraving will be back on Friday... these WILL SHIP on Tuesday 8/7/2012.

BAM Update:

Parts are not back from Anodizing... I'm hopeful for next week but I will keep you updated. If I get a real timeline I will post it here... hang tight... it's just around the corner.

Drott, I don't hoard my VK days, but I hardly ever use sick days. It's a good thing too, I never planned on getting hit by a car and being out for 11 months. (could have gone back after 6 months, but evil PM wouldn't let me )

I am and I'm kinda excited about it.It's an adventure. I like adventures.It's also a an insurance policy in case the feds decide we can't import cartos...I'm also working on making my own cartos but I can't find tampons small enough..but good idea right?

O.K. Drott. Here's the cure for chronic backache if you don't have muscle relaxers.
Bag of frozen peas anytime you can use it.Get icy hot patches and wear them.
Ibuprofen 3 x's a day...lay on the floor with your knees bent feet on chair or sofa and stretch,
I do not believe in gong to bed to cure a backache.I think you should move so that it doesn't get stiff.

OMG! Talk about an exercise in frustration! Apparently Comcast has no way of notifying you that the credit card you use for auto pay has expired - oh wait! Yes they do! They have that nifty messaging system that they use to tell you about pay-per-view carp that you don't watch, but do you think they could use it for anything else???

I just spent a half hour in online chat, after waiting on the phone on hold for 10 minutes before they said they were busy, leave a number. Where's the head bangy thing???

Today's lunchtime matinee was Redtails. Ive got mixed emotions about it. The movie, quite frankly, was terrible. Horrible acting. Side stories (trying to add in a love story to one of the main characters) just thrown in with no real....i dunno... continuity. Trying to add backstory or meaningful character development= FAIL. BUT, the dogfight scenes were amazing. It was the best teriible movie Ive ever seen!

Time to get to work. Then I get to leave on time today. Then go buy a new pair of work shoes. My left shoe is so worn out, the little plastic pieces that reinforce the heel are stabbing me. My right shoe is about to lose its sole. And the insole of it has been compressed so far, that my big toe has calloused over where its constantly rubbing up against the ver hard part of the shoe that holds the sides to the bottom. At least the right one doesnt stab me. I cut the plastic piece out two months ago.
