Grrrrrrrrrr, second time posting this, ECF logged me out mid post. All these thoughts are comparing my Boge/Phiniac and the Vivi Nova 2.5. The cartos were vaped at 5.0v using Boge 3.0's, and CC Cool Aid @ 24 mg.
Vivi Nova 2.5 first impressions:
1. Tighter draw.
2. Increased flavor.
3. Warmer vape.
4. Quieter vape (LOL ?)
5. Easier to fill.
6. Doesn't look anywhere as sexy on top of the Provari as the Phiniac/Boge setup.
7. Slight decrease in TH.
If ECF didn't cut the sessions so short you could have read what I posted the FIRST time, LOL.
Did direct A/B comparisons using the Vivi Nova w./ 2.8 ohm head @ 4.5v and Boge 3.0/Phiniac @ 5.0v. The draw is a bit tighter than the carto setup, not really better or worse, just different. Def. a flavor increase on the Vivi. The vape is def. warmer probably because the head is a lot closer to the mouthpiece. I started using the installed 2.8 ohm head and tried it at 4.0v and moved up to my fav. 5.0v setting and it was too hot. Not burned, but I've backed it back down to 4.0v and will see where I can move it up to. To me the TH seems a bit reduced. Not massively but enough to notice in my opinion. It is easier to fill, unscrew, fill, screw cap back on and go, no needles, or carto addon tools. With the burnished metal caps, and the gradient lines and logo, it doesn't look as sexy as a naked Phiniac tank on the Provari (IMO). It is actually a quieter vape than cartos, which may seem odd, but it is. I've grown used to the crackle of my cartos. :O As far as vapor, it seems comparable to my carto setup, maybe a smidge less, but not really that much difference.
All in all the BIGGEST two differences (but there are more as you've read), are increased flavor, and a warmer vape (possibly requiring lower voltages).
Will post more later.
