Side note on peelin chrome. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK !!! Old drummers trick for peeling chrome on hardware, lugs, rims, etc. I've used a itty bitty dot of clear finger nail polish to stop flaking chrome with success. Always prepped with alcohol, or something similar, sometimes burnished if surface was very smooth, and just a wee little dab. If you are doing this around your push button you would have to use much caution as a heavy handed BLOB, could get in and gum up your button. I've also used this quite frequently on other chrome, tom mount arms, my racks, where I would take a small stick on number and apply, then cover over with a small bit of the polish, and never had any issues. I had to do this as I had people other than myself setting up my kit, and they never got what went where right, so stuck numbers on for them, hehe.

Step away - come back - 73 new pages. *facepalm*

Y'all just cruise control through the thread, 'eh? ;-)

    ---

Question.. anyone have a preferred metal needle bottle for squirting/dripping from? Last I used one it was such a narrow gauge it clogged too easily. -Magnus

I've never used a needle bottle, but have done a lot with needles. I have to say for the record, once I got the tank/carto filling tool from Phiniac (there are others out there), I have not even THOUGHT of anything needly. Beyond LOOSING the one tool I had, it was flawless. ZERO fuss, leaking, carto pressurizing, o-ring thrashing, nadda, zip, zero.

I hadn't thought of that. Of course it would need a blue LED. *sigh* I will NOT order one today.

I can say from PERSONAL experience, GET GET GET the blue LED. :)

Hubby and I decided to give Shrek a bath when I got home from picking up the kids. It takes both of us to give him a bath. Hubby holds him in the tub and I climb in the tub and bathe him. All three of us are soaking wet by the time we're done. It was easier than the dogs I did at work though. This is what you should not let happen to your dog...

Before you ask where his head is, he is actually facing the camera.

This is after. A really crummy hair cut but I didn't have a choice. This was all I could do. When I clipped it off, it came off in one piece with the exception of the twigs that were in there. It looked like a rug. What a mess! Poor dog couldn't even see.

    IMAG0097.jpg

This one is a different dog but belongs to the same owner.

I am in no way looking down on someone that maybe can't afford to get their dog groomed regularly, or even semi-regularly. It happens. BUT, brushing would have helped! I'm off my soapbox now.:D

We are having leftovers. My husband buys like he is feeding a family of 10. I have 3/4 of a tri-tip roast left over from last night.

ECF is running slow - I'll check back later!

I'm feeding four here and need to buy like I'm feeding 10. Feeding a teenage boy is expensive!!

I use syringes for filling my Zen's. The one that came with was too small for all VG, so now I just use the big one for everything. I think it's 14ga. It's also handy for sticking into the coil before wrapping the Kanthal around it, keeps it straight and stops kinking. Some things aren't good to be kinky! :p

I'm very afraid of ordering one. A) I have no idea how to rebuild. B) I burn attys very easy or over fill them!

I would like to volunteer my "how the hell is this supposed to work" skills to you. I can then submit a YouTube video, and all you have to do is................................
