Mowing the lawn is awful when it's knee high. I think I should give up and let it go back to nature.

reminded me of my grandparents on my fathers side.They mowed one mower with to the outhouse and one mower with under the clothlines.coal crackers they were.Grand father had black lung and couldn't and seams like everyone else was too lazy and or drunk.
Well they either got the issues fixed or cleaning my cookies worked.Seams to be running ok now.Knock on wood.
I parked the darn thing and let the peeps out. They're having a blast. Sitting watching them and drinking sweet tea works better for me than mowing. No one sees my grass anyway back here.

It was nice out today, only 91 which actually feels good!!! Never thought I'd say that.
I must look into the Phoenix. I just keep trying to stay away from looking at it I'm skeered of mesh and coil.
Convinced hubby to go out tonight! We were invited to go white water rafting, but due to AJ's Cross Country meet they couldn't go, but afterward they are having a catered meal & going to an outdoor concert. I just can't sit up that long He needed to go, some of his friends from BAE (his former employer) in San Jose are there. Since we really haven't made any friends here, he NEEDED to go, relax and be with people he knows!!!

I cant wait until my mower is delivered. Im tired of looking at mine. Ive actually started growing mushrooms.
I mowed the front, except for the steepest part of the hill. Mr. V can tempt fate doing that part. I also took a few passes down the driveway to the mailbox, but fearing running out of gas I came back. Plus there were flying grasshoppers down there. 
Should have sent the chickens down first.... I HATE those things. *shudders*

The party was cool. I think this is the 4th or 5th time Ive ever seen my niece. She's as beautiful as her mother is. The pool was a bit cooler than I had anticipated. I went from an outie to an innie for a minute or two. And I dont mean my belly button. But all in all, it was a good time.
Now we're home and the girls stayed there, so its just a parent/son night tonight. And son is already in bed. Mrs E is about to fall asleep on the couch. *sigh*
