It's storming nicely here now. Very light by so called hurricane standards though. The Republicans in town are mucking up the roads though. The Protestors are mucking up the rest.

Good morning everyone. 
Monday morning First Monday morning back after a week of doing nearly nothing.
After looking around the warehouse, I didnt think that everything that was delivered was too bad. Nothing I cant get caught up on by the end of the week. But I still havent seen all of the failed parts that are sitting in the techs' trucks that will be dropped in my office shortly. I know there is a mess of stuff that has to be ordered for more failed cards that will have to be overnighted. I still need to get across town to check in replacement parts and do another inventory check (I still need to do my official inventory count with the boss' boss). And I see that my cart of decommisioned equipment that needs to be sent back is about to collapse under the weight of everything on it. Someone decided to use my office... And I dont think they believed in soap. I cant back that up... I know someone used my office, and I know that my office now stinks, but Im not sure if its body funk or not, but its not pleasant.
Let the "fun" begin.

Febreeze will help with the stinky office. Both kids are home sick today. I have to work & I still don't feel great with this sinus infection. Hubby is at work so Morgan has to go to work with me. Maybe I can still salvage some of today.

Good morning all thanks for the sorry Paul your a bum condolences. On vacation a week then when I'm back either I need to work out and become a stripper!! Or get a real job I'm not sure yet.
Woke up tired.If I don't do anything today I MUST get the work I brought home done.Hope I can get my brain in comprehension mode.
Time to bail on the first meeting I was scheduled for. Hopefully they wont discuss anything important without me. Getting my spares straightened out is more important that wasteing 1-2 hours of my day of sitting in a meeting I rarely have anything to contribute to. Too much to catch up on. The only downside to a vacation is showing itself now.
DNC = Democratic National Convention = 47 roads will be shut down in Charlotte. We have put a freeze on all network installations and maintenence in the area of uptown. And there will be a few interstates shut down whenever Obama decides to come.
Im not liking that. Not the sick, not the kids sick, not the hubby at work. You can make her day at your work fun though. Give her a poodle and some shears and let her go to town.
