No, they don't know yet. Poor buddies. I hate leaving them anywhere. I know they are in great hands with her, but I'm still leaving my babies behind. Victor will jump on my head when I get back.

Lol! Well, at least there's that- dogs tend to forget pretty fast. I'm worried Sam's going to pull a depression. She's the only cat I've known to do that- she did it twice. Once when my daughter was in school and riding the bus and brought home a kitten someone dumped in a box at a bus stop(Sam's the baby, she thought she was being displaced) and the second time was when my daughter moved out. Both times lasted a week. Fingers crossed.

Jake will not be pleased at all. He will grumble loudly and scare everyone. He'll forgive me when I get back though. Dogs are good that way, they do get over it rather quickly. Victor will have forgotten by the time he jumps in the car.

The only time I've had a furbaby get depressed was when my kitty Elwood died. His brother Jake was depressed for weeks, sitting in the dining room window looking to see if Elwood was coming home.

I've actually tried a few of those! If you haven't already, make sure you use an old atty for the seafood and garlic flavors - it doesn't come out easily!

I have tried them as well, and you WILL want to get the flavor out. Especially out of your memory, they are nasty!!! Judging by the selection, you are getting them from Tucson AZ. Yeah, been there, nearly vomited, threw them all away, as well as the attys I tried them in.

Bamrz: My Jake is the remaining half of my Jake and Elwood team. I lost my Elwood last March, Jake has never gotten over it. I thought the pup would help, but he has never been the same... me neither actually.

I had a rough time too, FV. My ex was at sea at the time (he was a submariner) and we didn't have kids yet, so the kitties were all I had to talk to when I got home from work. Elwood was the lover of the two, Jake was the troublemaker. It broke my heart.

I'm sorry, that's heartbreaking. Sam still misses her sister, sits in her sister's spots when she is stressed (vacumn, yardworkers, ect).

I thoroughly understand. My Elwood was my best bud, we were together every day for almost 8 years. Work and home. Losing him was horrid. Jake is 6 months younger and thought Elwood was his momma. He still runs to the gate and looks for him if he hears any kind of jingling sound that might be Elwood's tags. Jake turned gray within months, poor baby.
And I am still furious that in WI you can't sue a vet for malpractice and get more than the "depreciated replacement value" of an animal.

It's awful to lose a furbaby. I miss my cat Harriet terribly. She was extraordinary.
I still miss the dog I had from age one to age 13. She was a ferocious Cockapoo. Seriously, she took on 2 boxers once!

My brother had a cockapoo, it knew all kinds of really funny tricks. He was such a cool dog!

No flavor in this batch 36. I made a nice herbal one with comfrey and calendula. It is a very pretty pale green.

Yep, healing flowers. Very nice for the skin and the lips. Think marigolds.
Oh! I almost forgot!!! Catnip for mosquitoes! Fresh catnip repels them.
