Sallie, it sounds like your phid might have a loose connection inside. I'm not sure of their innards (don't have one) but if there are tubes, check to make sure they are all connected and not kinked.

Bamrz... The phid has a different kind of feed method. It's just a filler needle that sticks up into the atty or carto. You have to invert the phid while you're pressing the button and do a reverse drip. I guess I am dripping too much and so when I turn it right side up all the extra is dripping back into the phid.

My dry his was horrendous. I did the squonk while drawing on it trick before firing and now so far so good. I took the back off so I could see what was going on while I tried it. So far so good Sallie, try doing it that way and let me know what happens.

That's what I was doing. Now I'm just squonking without drawing so I don't draw too much. So I guess I need to find a happy medium. I think I'm just feeling grumpy so I don't feel like fiddling with it.

All I can say about today is thank goodness there is CC in my pvs. Anything else and I'd seriously be considering giving it up!
Nope, leaking back.inside is a bad attys connector. And the fact that you both are having an issue, and just got them, means Fono may have gotten a bad batch of connectors. I don't have a phid, but i do have a couple bottom feeders, and mine don't leak at all, not a drop.
It's either the tube, or the connector, nothing else it could be really.
I'm having squonking issues. I think I will go back and re-read the directions. When all else fail...
No dear, your having Monkey issues. You own the best bottom feeder, and now your lost on anything else. LOL
So I was able to go home and grab attys. In the process of finding one that works, I killed another one the same way as the other, two made almost no vapor and the last one...the one that's falling apart is making clouds. And had a little leftover House in it. Haha.

I am spoiled, that's for sure. I just need to give this new mod a fair shake. It is beautiful, no doubt about that. I think I am just so used to feeling the bottle that I don't push the button hard enough.
I just posted on the phid thread so hopefully fono will see it and come to my rescue. I'm not sure if it's not something else. Fono was actually using this phid before he decided to sell it to me (because I begged him to as it was the only zebra he had on hand after FV snatched the only zebra up for sale!). So I'm guessing he wouldn't have sent it if it wasn't working for him? I hope?
I actually removed the button for a bit FV just to try to get the hang of it. The string feels a bit odd, but at least I can get to the bottle and get some tactile sensation that way.
I'm so glad you two snatched up those zebras, the one in the pic was starting to talk to me!
Yeah, it's looks like that but I think it's really waxed string. At least mine is. I was able to back it off just enough that I could slide the button down and off, it wasn't glued. Now I just have the hole.
